This "smart" iPad app is too stupid to auto-rotate on an iPad It's a pet peeve. The single star is for the app alone. The smart plug I got it for might have worked, but TP-Link lacked the corporate ethics to let us know upfront either in the ad or on the box that it only works with a 2.4 GHz wifi. I didn't discover it was unusable on my network till I got to the setup card underneath all the packaging.

Lights work okay, but it takes 30 seconds to connect when you want to turn the lights on. I ALWAYS have to close out the app and reopen so it will work. After the latest iPhone update the app barely works. Gets stuck on loading screens.

Absolutely the worst smart lighting system and app on the market. The app is terrible to configure with the lights - unreliable- never maintains settings / moods of color when set...one could go on. Just save yourself the hassle.

I was able to use this initially but now I can’t get my app to work and recognize my lights. I can longer even turn lights on or off at all!!!!

We actually had a lot of fun with the light bulbs and app. Unfortunately the developers have apparently not updated the app for the current iOS version. Sad to see it go.

It crashes so much. It’ll freeze up and then you have to refresh it at least 5 times and don’t even get me started on how long it took me to set up a schedule. It’s a good app with a good purpose but honestly the bugs in the app is unbelievable. PLEASE MAKE IT BETTER!
