It’s OK ?

Updating my review now that I’ve played for 3 months: At best this game is okay. I have been playing in peace mode because the pvp mechanics are mediocre, the game crashes often, and there is usually lag. However, peace mode has its own issues such as the inability to prevent other players from stealing a chest you waited 3 hours to open. But once lvl 60 is released, at least nobody can raid your home and steal all your months of hard work like they can in Chaos mode. The world is very bright and colorful, which is one of the things I like most about this game. Nighttime tends to have terrible vision due to how dark it gets and the music goes from being pleasant to a tune that really clashes with the others and does not sound good imo. Most of your time will be spent gathering resources which gets very old and repetitive the further along you get. Leveling up is so easy that it doesn’t take long to surpass level restrictions which has caused a lot of problems with everyone trying to get the same limited resources/animals. And to make matters worse, players will spawn camp things to prevent others from ever getting them, or even kill rare creatures that take 7 days ( crazy I know ) to respawn just so you can’t get them. Some items take 12 hrs to respawn and you need at least 200 to tame something, but chances are after months of fighting others to get that much the animal you tame will have generated the worst stats it could have. ?‍♂️ But don’t worry, if you actually manage to tame all the things you want, then you won’t have anything else to do, so maybe it is best to take forever and just never achieve it. Once you’ve been to each island at least once there is nothing more to exploration, and the survival aspects are laughable. Food is super easy to come by, water is plentiful, and every monster/animal has an easily dodged attack. It is a very easy game in that regard. Most choose to play in Chaos mode because the only real challenges to survival come from other players. Highly recommended to play with others as it doesn’t have enough content to make for an interesting solo game. Speaking of content: craftables are extremely limited so you don’t have many options on house styles nor furniture to make, there is no character customization aside from choosing the color of your “underwear”, your hairstyle, and your gender ( no skin tone or facial features ), and you cannot change or delete a character after making them so don’t make a mistake! Oh, and you’ll be searching online for how to do anything because nothing gets explained in the game and there’s no handy feature like a recipe book for everything you can cook. Sorry that this is so long, I wanted to cover as much as I could. I recommend giving it a try if it interests you, and who knows maybe future updates will add enough content that it becomes an awesome game. But for now, it’s okay. ?

THE GREEDIEST

I don’t care how flawless your game is (which is not decent to begin with given the autolock for gathering resets your FOV, the jumping is fragmented, the first-person view is bugged with certain equipped items) when you’re charging almost $100 for an in-game item simply for cosmetics. Mounts seem to be a big feature, which I love, and as I worked my way through the tutorial I decided to explore the shop. You’ve got about 4 mounts priced at 5600 premium currency and selling 6400 for $100. I moment I saw that I uninstalled. In the thousands of games I’ve played, the hundreds I’ve tested, the handful that I spend $100s on, I’ve never seen developers so greedy. This review is a message to you. Furthermore, players are willing to spend money and some spend a lot. No one wants to buy cosmetic items for hundreds of dollars and your game will inevitably fail because of it. Price items fairly and you’ll find yourself making significantly more in the long run. I was going to include this game in a survival game compilation for YouTube and even spend a little bit of money to ‘fully immerse’ myself. Not after seeing that.

Crashes on iPhone SE

Hello, I really enjoy this game. I play on my iPad Air 2 and it works great. However whenever I try to load the game and play on my iPhone, it keeps crashing and sending me to my home screen. Just wanted to point this out in case there’s a bug that needs to be fixed!

We want our tribe.

CaptKnives

My username is CaptKnives and I am from Peaceful server 103. I speak to you today on behalf of the people of Arc 6, Fragrant Plains. We had a goal to form together and create a tribe. We even created the necessary items and hunted down a sleeping king. Of course we learned then that no more tribes can be created. You are beginning to get 1 Star reviews because of this. What we want is to make our tribe. We will all be more than happy to change our reviews to 5 Stars once we have our tribe. Thank you.

Unplayable

Oyjord

There may be a good game here, but it’s impossible to know. The localization to English is about as bad as it gets. The translations are often unintelligible. As is the UI. With no real tutorials, just a screen full of buttons, the UI is just as unplayable as the localization is unintelligible.

Fix Tribe Situation

NicoLoco75

This a great game but the ability to create tribes needs to happen yesterday. Therefore, I am giving this game a one-star rating, for now. Once this problem has been fixed I will come back and change my rating to five stars. Sincerely love this game. Please fix the few things we are asking for.

I like it so much
