Have been using the app for years. Whatever was done to the crossword and sudoku puzzles needs to be undone. They’re horribly slow, freeze up, and don’t save information if I have to step away for a minute.

Good news source mostly… but! Several times since the start of 2022, there have been articles posted as being one hour old that announce weeks old information. I thought news was supposed to be current or at least marked as a review of previous stories.

I used to enjoy opening up the USA Today app and reading another perspective on the news of the day. However, that is no longer possible. Unlike other news outlet apps, USA Today has now shifted to requiring a subscription in order to read most of their stories. And like most Americans, I will not have another subscription for them. They were either not able to raise enough money through their advertising or instead decided it’s was not enough to fund the inflated salaries and bonuses. Either way, I am just going to delete it because I just get frustrated when I open it now. Very sad.

Why does USA Today repeat stories? Stories are “old news” after 5 days . . Take them down.

Something is wrong with the app. When you touch on stories they don't open, same thing happens on my iPhone. All other apps work fine.

This is why I do not subscribe to USA Today. When a new agency posts articles like Chadwick Boseman dying today, 41 minutes ago. And last week when they posted that President Bush (41) just died! How can you believe any of the other articles!
