Excited About First Online Order

ChristineKn

This is my first online experience with UO and I’m very excited. The products are stylish and unique. Can’t wait to receive them!

Not worth it

UO is overpriced and the customer service is horrible. Just shop elsewhere. It’s honestly not worth it.

Honest review

Urban Outfitters is the trashiest, most inconvenient store that I’ve used to buy stuff online. I have made multiple orders on this app and I have given it multiple opportunities as well. Let’s start first with an order I placed on Nov. 24, 2021. It was a series of gifts for Christmas, which by the way, most didn’t arrive on time. The thing that stood out for me the most was the fact that about three weeks later of ordering, mind you the week before Christmas, I got a notification were it stated that one of the items was cancelled because it was sold out. If the item was sold out, why tell me three weeks later?? Two other items that I bought never shipped until it said that it was in Back Order. What’s so interesting about back order is that it takes months for items to finally ship. So basically I cancelled both items because they were intended to be a gift for Christmas. The second order had two items that were bought as part of an anniversary gift. Those two items had supposedly shipped, but never arrived. Was issued a refund for that one. And finally the last and probably last order from UO included a series of products for self-care. Two items were in back order since Dec. 20 and are expected to ship on Feb. 10. At first it said Jan 12 but the date was postponed?. Anywho, y’all really need to stop selling stuff that is 1. already sold out and 2. in back order. Another thing. If you place an order of say $200 dollars, they basically charge you those $200 dollars and the charge stays in process until they ship u your items. When they ship your items, they charge you again, maybe completely or partly if it was partially shipped. So basically they take off $400 until they completely ship it, which takes 2-3 weeks, and then the $200 pending payment disappears. I say this just for y’all to keep in mind. I had $200 charged and they partially charged me again for each package that was shipped and I basically couldn’t eat till that $200 pending payment cleared so?
