In the span of 2 minutes, I’ve gotten 15 notifications… they are in my Yard so I want notifications. What I don’t want is multiple notifications just because someone is walking very slow. Can’t believe there’s not a setting

Mostly good but the clip export is simply unusable. Impossible to adjust start stop times with the sliders. Spent 30 minutes trying to download a clip and gave up and waited until I had access to a computer several hours later. Allow me to type in start/stop time, please!

Instead of being able to export 10 second to 1 minute clips, the app is defaulting to 1+ HOUR clip exports and the sliders don’t let me adjust clip export length anymore. Please fix!

This app used to be adequate. I was able to use the app to view the camera feeds and click the alerts to see the motion. However since the issues Ubiquiti had in December, the app simply won’t work. When opening the app, it just shows a white screen where the feeds should be and appears to be loading. The menu button will take me to the screen that confirms I am connected to my controller, but it will never load the feeds. It will also no longer give motion alerts. It is worthless. I have deleted and reinstalled and it works during the first session but never connects again. The AppleTv app works fine, so it is clear that it is this iOS app. From good to garbage in 30 days.

Something goes thump in the night, I have to go see fit myself because this app is useless. It is perpetually loading and reloading and reloading the images.

App requires near constant force closing. It cannot handle being in the background for any amount of time, you have to force close it and reopen fresh every time you want to use it. Exporting video is not only a terrible interface but it rarely works ending with “export failed”messages. It consistently acts like it’s connected but the video will be frozen or scrubbing the timeline will result on nothing requiring a force close and reopen. Just generally buggy and unstable. It’s got a nice UI but that’s not worth anything when the core of the app is broken in so many ways.

Currently I can’t locally login (i.e. without remote access) with a VPN connection over cellular to my UDM-Pro. Apparently you need to be on (your home) WIFI . Interestingly, if you keep the app running in the background and you leave your house and establish a new VPN connection over cellular to your UDM-Pro, it still lets you stream the video feeds (just like if you were still at home connected over WiFi). However, if you then force quit the app and reopen it, you get an error saying that you have to be on your home WiFi for it to be able to connect to the local console. The UniFi Network app works perfectly over cellular+VPN. So why isn’t this possible with Protect as well?

When are you going to implement a dark mode theme? It is like this app is developed by a third party who has a different UX team.

Ubiquiti needs to fix the issue where UniFi protect stops working and goes to a black screen on IOS iPhone 13 pro. This is severely irritating issue and I have to delete and re download the app every time it stops working. Get this fixed ubiquiti. Seriously a huge bug with UniFi protect on IOS.
