App doesn't work after update

Prior to this version the app worked fine with an occasional problem. I've never been able to connect to the speaker with this version. Useless.
Please fix issue

Love my speaker but since the last update my app does not recognize the speaker. I am using an iPhone 6s plus with the latest software iOS 9.3.2 I keep getting the error "please make sure your device is on/connected." I removed the app and reinstated but this did not solve the issue. Speaker will play fine via blue tooth connect.
Please fix!

I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice, it's still not recognizing my speaker and will not connect to it. It's great when it worked and I love the features, it's just unreliable! PLEASE FIX ?
Stopped Working

Today the app just stopped picking up my Boom2. The phone recognizes the device, but the app just simply stopped seeing it. I reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone and it still does not see it. The app has some great features: turn on the Boom2, the equalizer, the alarm clock. However, with the app not working and there being no workaround online I'm frustrated. It also seems that the app is the way for firmware updates are pushed to the device, which isn't going to happen now. I usually don't write reviews, but this really disappoints me to the point of being compelled. Please fix!!!

The speaker is AWESOME. The app, not so much. I see an idea for an app here that I like. The realization is, um, lacking.
