Incredible Show - creepy circus!

May be a bit macabre for younger players, but I will say ERS did a beautiful job on the graphics! Think a cross between island of dr Moreau and a circus sideshow. Mishmash of animals and humans and fantasy. Easy to play, transporting map, labeled inventory, decent ho and puzzles. Worth playing.

I think most people should skip this one and save their money for a hopefully better one next time. The story takes place during the early 1920's, and you set out to find your sister who disappears on stage after assisting an evil circus master at the Strauss Circus. Traversing through the circus grounds, you are assisted along the way by creatures who have been victimized by the master's experiments but only after you help them in some way. The grammar is terrible!; what were they thinking? "The "keleton" (supposed to be "skeleton") has asked me to play" was one amongst many typos or spelling errors that I cannot believe the developers did not pick up. The graphics are somewhat faded out and grainy. You had several modes of difficulty, including the option to customize. The map was a bummer because it did not note any objectives, tasks, or labeled locations. It did give fast travel to a location, but you could be running around trying to find things to do. Maybe it was because I chose custom settings? It still should not be the case! The HOS were mainly boring, repetitive word lists with slight interaction - nothing unique. The puzzles were fun, and you are able to choose a difficulty level on some. One example was to move upper halves of masks down to the lower halves by moving blocks around. You also made some quick potions or elixirs. The inventory was labeled but did not require assembly of objects. The journal was a little different in the aspect of acquiring info. You collect film reels and take photos (photos are taken for you = lack of challenge) in certain locations, and a mini HOS will initiate. These photos become a part of the info that is stored in your journal. The only unique aspect worth mentioning is that you get to play "spin the wheel" to receive coins that you can donate to help animals that were abused by the crazy magician. There are no collectibles so this game is not worthy of being a collector's edition; only the usual extras such as replay of games, music, etc. are offered. This game will probably fall short due to length in its simple and linear pattern, as well as any lack of imagination or innovation as we have seen in the last few games. The game deserves about 2.5 stars; but because it ran smoothly and was glitch free, I rounded it off to 3 stars.
Spooky Circus Puts On Quite A Show!

Marvelous little game from ERS! You and your sister are attending the Thanksgiving showing of the Strauss Circus, when the crazed magician steals her away. He is infamous for crossing sick people with animals, and he plans to cross your sister with a cat as a lead attraction in his newest show. As you try to rescue her, you discover how he became so twisted. The Hidden Object scenes are sometimes just photographs with only three items to find, and other times they are the traditional scenes. Games are easy, such as complete the clown masks, etc. The Hint and Skip work well. The spooky music and odd creatures make for an interesting game. In between, you find reels of movies that have interactive objects for you to find. Different! I would recommend this one.

This game is a huge disappointment. It is mind numbing at best. Super boring. Even on sale I feel cheated. I wouldn't play it if it was for free!

Have tried everything. Uninstalled, reset device, turned off all background apps, reinstalled. Hangs after intro. Am running latest iOS. Very frustrating!

I have to agree with Kim. There are several mistakes in the game. Several things misspelled and the MAP. What is the point of a map that doesn't give you ANY direction. You are basically forced to backtrack! I had to use hints through out this entire game because there weren't any direction to the game. The storyline is OKAY, There ARE voice overs but the characters mouths don't move? Why are we being forced to BUY Before we try?!? I could of avoided this train wreck completely if I were given the chance, like you use to BIF FISH, to try the game first before I buy it!. There are also EGGS to find which I find weird. There are only a handful of them and their at the end of the game. Not during the gameplay. I like morphing objects and collectibles but this is neither. You must save your sister from a a mad that's turning his family into animal attractions for his circus. This is a 3 star game for me. I usually buy every game but I would of passed on this one. E.R.S. Missed on this one. Sorry guys. You've put out much better and you should know better than to have a map,although the placement and design of the map is great, there isn't any direction to the map. Doesn't show you ANYTHING except where you are at and if you should take a picture. Stop making us buy first BF!

Want to know why there was no free trial on this game? Because it was so boring and dated that nobody would have bought it. It had a good storyline, but that was about it! There was a journal, a non-spoiler hint system, and labeled inventory. No plus items, which to me make a game more fun. Also included was a useless teleport map, where no objectives or tasks were marked so you had to run around anyway! At least loading between locations was instantaneous. The graphics were average at best, the cut-scenes decent, and the wallpapers ugly. The game was short and so was the bonus chapter. The HO scenes were simplistic as were the puzzles. It was also slightly glitchy. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was because it didn't have RATS! Let's face it; a game has to be pretty bad if I am ADDING a star for lack of rodents! Dream Team, don't even bother. I am beginning to realize that Dracyy rates everything 5 stars so I should not get a game if nobody else has thoroughly reviewed it! After getting used to fabulous games from Sunward, Mad Head, and EIPIX, once again ERS has fallen short! BigFish, seriously you need to drop this developer! Concentrate on developers who give us gorgeous, long complex games please! Can't you give us a new Empress already?

I don't usually do reviews because most of my opinions have already been expressed by the Dream Team. But I just had to chime in on this one...This game is pure garbage! Crap! It crashed 90 secs into it. I should of let it go then, but no, I had to reopen it and try again. What a complete and total waste of time. I quit and deleted it within 15 minutes. Too bad we can't get our money back. BF, if you're going to push garbage like this on us, then you should at least bring back the free trials. But then again, like Lynx Minx said, if we would have been able to trial it, NO ONE in their right mind would have bought it. And this will teach me to NEVER purchase a game again that gets bad reviews from that Dream Team! ~Jo ?
