Horrible for sellers

My item sold on 7/25. The buyer got her dress three weeks ago. Finally got notification that the funds are released to transfer and now i see It can take up to another week for the money to hit my bank. An entire month + to get paid for my item is ridiculous. And I’m not even gonna talk about the fees.

I don’t recommend selling anything on this website they are horrible. They tell you they except returns back to their warehouse but they don’t they send it back to you damaged

Your return policy is not very positive you only give credit not actual money back so basically I am trapped buying only from you.

Very limited information on size. Designer have different size and some run smaller. To have dimensions available would really help

Great for buyers, not so much for sellers

It’s a bit of a love and hate relationship with Tradesy... as a buyer, I enjoy the sales and ease of use (as well as authenticity and returns guarantee) of the tradesy app. But as a seller, the commission feels are much higher than other consignment apps (they had raised their fees twice since I first joined), and they also charge a transfer fee (regardless of transfer method, including those that should be free). It was also really difficult to get in touch with a customer representative. Maybe it was just that one time, but when I did get in touch with someone, the representative was extremely rude about a potential sale- the buyer and I had both agreed on a price, but I was unable to change the price on an item due to some technical difficulty on the app. After a full week of communication, the representative finally responded (very rudely) that she’s only helping me because the buyer had requested help, not because I had requested help. I had since removed all my listings on that platform.

The fees need improving

The selling fees are super high- 20% for items over $50 and $7.50 for items less than that. This means I cannot sell items for $8 because then I would make nothing. As if that’s not enough, there’s also there’s a safe transfer fee when you sell the item and want to move the money to your bank which makes no sense because every other selling app charges nothing unless it’s for instant deposit. It feels like Tradesy just wants to make money off of people. I have over $800 sitting in my account because I don’t want to pay the fees.
