I posted my items to sell. Was messaging other sellers. Apparently I violated community guidelines because I offered to trade shoes. Emailed the company letting them know that I was just paying with shoes instead of actual US currency and instead of responding to my email they suspended my account.

If you’re looking for your payout to arrive 2 months after selling, then this is the right app for you. Up to this day, I have not been able to contact anyone about a pair of shoes that I paid 400 dollars for and sold through here. The payout never arrived.

Great for buyer, sellers can get better service elsewhere. This Two Star Review has nothing to do with the ap but is 100% about the business model. 21+ days to get paid for an item when Poshmark/Ebay release funds much quicker makes this platform pretty lacking to a seller.

Selling fees are among the highest and it takes over 3 weeks to release the funds. They used to accept returns and relist on house accounts, but now they allow returns for any reason and send them back to the seller, even if items were accurately represented... and they still only offer the buyer store credit. I used to love Tradesy but the experience has gone way downhill and I am currently switching to Mercari.

I’ve purchased many items from Tradesy that I wouldn’t otherwise get to purchase. They finance with Affirm and paying for your awesome, high brand purchase doesn’t hurt. It’s a manageable payment for luxury. I’m motivated to pay it off because I love beautiful, high quality things.

Ridiculous return policy!!!!! Ridiculous Paying policy!!!! This site/ app very unprofessional the buyer get to return items to seller without any reason and the seller won’t get any heads up no email or notification. How ridiculous is this, buyers take advantage of using new items and returned. Oh and if you make a sale you’ll fund become available in 21 DAYS. I deleted all my 200 items after recently had return new shoes just because !!!! Never again Tradesy!!!

I love the Tradesy app, if you are looking for super posh experience designer brands this is the place! Shipping is a little outrageous at over $10 but when your purchasing an item for several hundred dollars I suppose that’s the least of your worries. But as a seller if you list anything under a $100 value you will make pennies with how the commission is set up. For example, say you ‘hypothetically’ sell a top from The Limited for $11.00... the purchaser then pays $10.50 in shipping costs on top of that for a total payment of $20.50... you want to know how much you make off that sale? $3.50 I could’ve made more $ at a garage sale and not had to take out the time to package it and ship it...hypothetically of course. So that’s why I gave 3 stars, I have to pick and choose what would even be worth my time on this app whereas there are other apps that accommodate to a genre of middle class to designer brands.
