Had a TP link older model never had any issues decided to upgrade to same company still working great and easy to set up. Would recommend this to anyone looking. ? to upgrade there WiFi unit.

I’ve set up thousands of networks and this is just outrageously over complicated, unintuitive and buggy.

I like this app. I wish it duplicated the web console ‘advanced’ features much more comprehensively. But it’s designed for inexperienced consumers, so I get it. The biggest issue I have, and the reason why I don’t expect to be using it unfortunately, is that compared to often-laggy web admin console, the lag in this app is actually significantly worse. I had really hoped for the opposite: that by removing the overhead of the web server processing on the router, the app would offer a more direct path to update settings in the router. But sadly no. In particular, every time I save a settings update, it displays a ‘waiting/loading’ popup spinner, which freezes-up and spins forever. The workaround is to close the Tether app from the app switcher, after each settings ‘save’, and then restart the app to continue changing other settings etc. But it’s a really, really, really annoying workaround!!..
An excellent tool to control my LAN

This app worked immediately with total ease of use and powerful tools to control my LAN and it's extenders and access points. I recommend it without reservations. Does not require more than a basic understanding of networks to use it e effectively.
App is good but it can be better

This app is good. You can do basic things like change your network’s name, password, block devices. But GUI is very basic (it can be better). Also, I think it could have a new function where an user can get notifications or alerts if a new device connects to the network. Overall of this app is good. I give it 3 stars. It can improve more with GUI and more functionality within the app.
