My husband has no problem logging in Tether. He is trying to setup my phone to access Tether. Using the same User and Password that works on his phone generates an incorrect username or password on mine! This even though I was able to log into the app using the exact same Username and password as my husband. However, when I try to log into the extender (second level user & PW) and it prompts me again for a username and password, it fails even though I am using the exact same as I used to sign in initially and the exact same that my husband uses.

It would be great if they put back The QOS prioritization to low, medium and high since doing it by hours to me isn’t great at all because it locked to be a high prioritization to that specific hour and I have a slow internet since where I live in almost a jungle doesn’t have great high speed internet and it is a pain since it’s always high and cannot use other stuff for that specific hour if I put it in that way.

why do I suddenly need to create a new online tp link account to access my local router. stupid to say the least.

Parental controls don’t work consistently which is the main reason I bought it. I have to reboot the router several times a day for it to work.

I have to provide person info just to config my router??

Um, hell no! Why force me to give my email address and create an account just to configure my router. GFY. This new router goes back tomorrow. I’ll buy something else that doesn’t violate my privacy.

I always get an error message saying the connection to the device is not stable. Very frustrating!

There is not much to expect from this sub $100 device yet it delivers where it matters and that is WiFi6. Its a must for anyone replacing the AC routers or older. If you do not care about the mesh network this is it. The only thing that is subpar is the software features but even that is above the rest but not quite enough and hence the four stars.

Good router but parental controls do not work

It’s a good router for the price. However the parental controls do not work as described in video. You can not block sites or block keywords. If you block keywords, you can still access them on the internet even though it says it’s active. Worthless for parental control. Sad!
