Got better WiFi now!

thatsfineokay

My room was a dead spot for my wifi so I decided to buy the TP-Link AC2600 and it works amazingly! I no longer struggle with slow WiFi in my room and everything opens up fast now. I can’t wait to use it when I play on my PS4. With the app it was easy to set up as well.

Basic, it works

Generic management software that does not let you drill down and use any advanced settings.

Best and Easiest Router to set-up and maintain

GoodMusicPlease?

Currently I have 18 clients, (devices) evenly distributed between 2.4 MHz and 5.8 MHz. We've had many more people over all on the guest signal with ZERO lag or latency. My current Ookla Speed test is 637.91 down, and 36.9 up. Consistently. Above my paid level. The app gets updated frequently enough, but I would like to see the firmware/firewall/antivirus updated just as much. Overall, it toast my old Nighthawk and with four girls , computers, cell phones, tables, smart watches, etc... This TP-Link doesn't even blink with a full load. 802.11ax is the bomb! Buy it now before the general public figures it out and your next device will thank you! AX 6000!

Dark mode

Dark mode would be great.

App not working

Why would the web UI offer a download link for this app, when this app will not even work with my TL-WR902AC v3??? Fix your app! Support my device or update the firmware and remove the app download link!

Cool app for network optimization

Congratulations on this app. I was defeated when I tried to use it for installation of my TP-Link N300 (stated compatible on the box though not in your list). I believe I was offered my router home page by the app on Safari and this prompted me to solve my IoT issue by switching to recommended settings for least neighborly interference First, I got the TP-Link N300 device running with Safari with the phone using the _EXT wifi. I came back to the app when I was irked by the management website during fine tuning of the system. On the tuned wifi, the app on my phone found the TP-Link range extender. Then, it enabled me to custom name my IoT device on the TP-Link and reposition TP-Link in an optimum place. That is very reassuring! I note there are range power combinstions apart from maximum and there are further power saving options if required like switch off schedule for LED and for TP-Link useful for the seasonal switch off and winterization since the TP-Link is currently dedicated to just the seasonal IoT device. NB My router tune up involved applying more router recommended settings than I used before. - I set 2.4GHz to auto to avoid channels beset by interference (all recommended channels and several others were unacceptable). - I switched 802.11 mode to just n instead of g/n as I no longer wanted to connect a 802.11g device. These settings seem to be optimum.

Bad decision

I bought this extender equipment to enhance my wifi signal but is is a waste of money. Does not work properly. I don’t recommend. I bought because I saw in TikTok that they recommended an enhanced.

Gets the job done; nothing more.

I Don't Call it Frisco

The app does nothing except lead connect to your network. If everything goes as planned, you’re up and running quickly. But if anything goes wrong, there’s very little troubleshooting help available. There are no tools for hiding networks, or restricting them, etc. Worse, you can’t set a password for the device itself. That makes it easy for you to connect, but it creates a security issue and that someone else can connect unless you bind your device to a single email.

Is it free?

Cause I just read about monthly and year charges.

Does as expected.

App does as advertised. Informational about smart products that interact with, link and can be controlled with integration and linked account.
