Concepts are good, but....

The navigation using the slider is good, BUT... - you cannot send a note via email. - there is no way to send an email with text or attachment to the app. This is a critical function that is completely missing. -You can create a tag and a todo, but you can't use due dates. This app gets filed away until they update with these fixes. I can't recommend it now.

Different and better, but needs a few things

Yes, this will take a few minutes to learn a few new conventions. Time well spent. I have about 10 other note taking apps that are all vanilla, some have sprinkles; this is a new flavor altogether. Now we need sync to Evernote, SugarSync and media options like images and links. The more I use it, the more intuitive it is. This totally makes sense for the way I think. Months later, I still like, but want to love this. Want it to sync with my iPhone, cloud access, Evernote, SOMETHING!

Great App

I have been using ThinkBook for about a month now and I love it! I can create books with pages, To-Do lists, Projects, and take notes all in one app. I use this app for work daily and very pleased with the interface. Please read the manual FIRST, and you will enjoy the app and its usefullness!

Nice app but.... NO direct printing or output in PDF or rtf , make it worthless for sharing or keeping records. The only output I found so far is Unformatted txt file when you save or sent an email. Don't waste your money.

Great interface, but.....

Probably slickest interface for a note taking app. Make it sync with Evernote and it gets 5 stars.

Needs to synch with other apps and devices badly

I really love how intuitive this interface is. The slider rocks! I can zip through notemaking with smooth sailing. But the app STILL isn't compatible with the iPhone. And I can't export text via email or even clipboard. I don't want to carry my iPad with me every moment, but I need my professional notes. Until this app starts to synch and export files outside of itself, it's kind of useless. Break down your walls, developers!

Excellent! But...

Like other reviews have said, this app needs a few more essential features before it makes it to my front page. I use it regularly and my main frustrations are: the inability to export my notes in any format other than plaintext (and when I do, I might as well have not because it is not organized in the way ThinkBook organizes it), no support for bold, italic, or underline formats (this is extremely basic), and limited bullet point format (it is the same bullet merely indented forward). There are maybe a couple other minor functionality complaints, but it is the ones above that really prevent ThinkBook from becoming a 5 star hit.

Fantastic Outliner

Once you spend a little time with it it becomes obvious how powerful this app is. If you often need to outline ideas or projects, this is the way to go. The interface is brilliant.

One of the best apps...just need one more bit of tweaking...to be the perfect app.

Everything about ThinkBook is absolutely great! I use it for many things....from meetings, conducting trainings, work detail, tracking to do items, and so forth. The only area that needs tweaking...is how to get the notebook to display when sharing it with other people to look the way it looks like inside of ThinkBook. Currently when send to email...the outline becomes distorted. If it can't be done to display in an email like it looks inside of ThinBook, can at least a "select all" feature be added that would allow for a full notebook copy into like Pages or other document app...that would or may help the notebook not become distorted? If that could ever be included....it would help this be....the perfect app. Love it...kudos to whoever thought it up!

Love this!

Update: again, great app to bad I need to have my notes on my phone. ---- I'd sell my neighbor's kid for an iPhone version of this app I really enjoy how everything works in ThinkBook. Others have had issues with the UI, but a good 20-30 minutes of playing with the app will make it second nature, even if that 20-30 minutes is spread over a day or three.
