So this app works fine for controlling various roku devices. I can power on my roku tvs just fine due to the setting “fast tv start”. Roku streaming stick+ not so much. If I powered on the stick with physical remote it is available in app. However, if I want to power on with app it is always shown as “not found on network”. Yes WiFi network is the same on phone as stick. I believe stick needs update to feature a fast start option, or WiFi wake. Control by mobile apps is set to default, tried permissive same failure.
Don’t Open in Landscape Orientation - iPad Issue

The app is glitchy on the iPad. If it is opened with the iPad in landscape orientation, the Roku app opens in portrait and you lose the right side of your remote. However, if the iPad is in portrait orientation, everything opens properly.
So convenient and awesome.

Why I’m NEVER Getting this app is because it says it cannot find the device but it’s right next to me so NEVER get this app NEVER you can get it do you want to be angry so just NEVER get this app NEVER!!!!!!!

Piece of junk. Works once, then won't connect again until you delete the app and reload it. Happened several times. Don't waste your time.

You have to keep uninstalling and stalling the app again just to connect to tv once you let remote rest it don’t work anymore

This Roku app is honestly awesome!!! It’s easy to use and to connect. I really enjoy using it and also being able to connect it to my AirPods so that I could listen to it closer with me. The only trouble I’ve been having starting this morning was that it keeps saying I have bad internet and it lags and disconnects and I’ve checked I have very good internet not sure why this is happening? ?

This app use to be the best when we couldn’t find our remote, now it’s a giant pain. It won’t connect to any of the roku tv’s or boxes all on the same Wi-Fi, even restarted everything. Also tried to manually connect with the IP address… nothing ? it’s a useless app now

I will recommend this app to anyone honestly, it’s amazing especially if you have kids or forget where you put the remote! The only issue I’ve been having recently is it won’t connect to the t.v. My t.v will be on and it’s saying that it’s not and won’t connect. It’s happening a lot recently. Would be great if it would get worked on and fixed.
