I bought a pair of red suede, 8 1/2, Rag & Bone boots. Instead I received a 6 1/2. Thankfully after a number of emails & a phone call, somebody at TRR offered me credit. I returned them shoes and paid $12 for shipping. But now I see they are still selling them in the wrong size. Does anybody check the shoe sizes?!

I have made several purchases on this app. Everything is spot on (sizing, pricing, etc.) They also fix any problem and the customer service, for me, has been great

App sold items

There is a bug on the app where “your wait is over” emails are items that were sold and return are still sold status on the app and you can not put in your cart. On the main pages they look available but when going to put in the cart it says sold.

Wouldn’t Consign Again, Good for Buying

As a shopper, I appreciate that TRR accepts returns on most items/sales (they do have “final sale”/no return on items as well). The prices are great though I do find the shipping to be quite expensive. I’ve been consigning on various app platforms and at stores as well, and the hassle and fees associated with TRR made consigning with them a fairly disappointing experience. I made $80 off of a pair of $1000 Balmain shoes that I wore exactly one time. TRR listed them for $144, and allowed use of a discount code. Wish I had used another platform or consigned in a store.

I get notified that and item I have on my waitlist is available and it is then locked as ‘sold’... stupid glitch that has been happening for months and is still not fixed!?
Misleading Platform Rips Off Consignors

Beware! The Real Real undervalues the items you consign by a significant margin and immediately offers purchasers a 20% discount on the items. And, items listed at under $145 (i.e. most items) only receive a 40% commission rate. A pair of unworn, perfect condition sunglasses purchased for $220 were listed for only $95 by the company, so with the purchaser discount, my earning was only $25. Don’t waste your time with this company, I regret consigning multiple items with them and will be selling my items on platforms where I have control over the price.

This has become my go-to place for designer items - great quality and description along with terrific customer service, tracking and fast shipment. What more could you want?
