Fun, but about the controls…

adiabatty

It's a great game, but the controls don't seem to be as fast as I need them to be in order to turn around in time. Makes me want a thumb-killing NES controller or similar to execute turns in tight spaces.

Unforgiving Controls

dv8godd

As has been said in other reviews, the controls are extremely unforgiving. What would otherwise be a fantastic game becomes a mountain of frustration instead. I can't count the number of times taps are missed by the app, crashing the rocket into traps. You WILL be frustrated by the sheer number of times your perfect timing is ignored by the lagging responsiveness of the game. It's a shame, really... but it doesn't look like the developers will ever remedy the situation and make the game enjoyable rather than a hassle.

Fun platformer, controls are great

One of the few games I've played all the way through. I almost didn't buy the game because of reviews about the controls, sounding as though they were not consistant or some other flaw in the game design. None of that is true. The controls are great. The game just gets hard and requires timing and coordination. Interested to check out the ebook.

Unresponsive controls...

Frustratingly unresponsive, the millisecond delay causes unintuitive control

Cool game!

Dr Marble

I had no problem with the controls... Their timing is just part of the game.

Remarkably Dissapointing

Tyler Menezes

The idea of the game boils down to "jumping/timing puzzle". It's amazing, then, to see that Shaun didn't bother to make a responsive game! The levels beyond 6 require timing more precise than is possible due to the input lag and sensitivity. It's as if I'm playing a lottery game. The most frustrating part is knowing that you've executed a move perfectly several times, but need to do so 10-20 more times before the timing windows line up. Unfortunately, that's the feeling applying to all the later levels. A nice game with beautiful graphics, but virtually unplayable. A shame, the early levels are great.

Tied for my favorite game. Buy buy buy!

I Love This Amazing Game. Ive beaten it at least fifty times and it's the only game i havent gotten tired of. Its so amazing.

Almost perfect

Madyew

A very charming and well made game. The only problem comes in the later levels when the game requires more precise timing than thought. Precision isn't the games strong suit since, because holding your touch down causes the Rocket to crouch, it doesn't execute a flip turn until you *let go* of your touch. This sometimes makes it very difficult when you have to continuously flip in order to stay in the air. The first half of the game is completely delightful though, and the second half is still good even with the aforementioned problem. (Played on iPad 3)

Great little puzzler

Just a great game. This game should really get a lot more love.

Solid Game

Charming, easy to grasp, challenging but not impossible, great gameplay, no in app purchases. One of the better iOS games to come out recently.
