I am the worse planner! I am not organized at all. I just put everything I did into the knot and it organized it for me. I barely had to think about what to do next because of the checklist it’s great for first time brides and grooms. Definitely put your budget in there early so you don’t blow it like we did

The app is ok not as user friendly as I’d hope. Website templates I wish could be customized more. It freezes a bit which is annoying. But it has helped me stay organized

I loved using this app during my engagement season! It made it so easy to plan my wedding and see the things that I needed to get done every month! I wasn’t stressed as much due to how organized and planned out the app made everything!

Stuff was added to our registry without consent

We got a notice somebody bought an Amazon Prime membership from our registry that neither of us added. The Knot must have partners with Amazon and is getting a cut from them or something because neither us wanted it or added anything from Amazon

Not user friendly at all

This app is so difficult to use and makes what should take 10 minutes take an hour. You can’t easily find your favorites, there are tons of glitches, and searching is hidden behind multiple pages. It’s free but it’s not worth the headache. They also delete poor reviews on vendors so you can’t accurately gauge what you’re getting yourself into.

The knot removes negative reviews

They knot took down a negative review for the vendor even after we show proof. Odd enough they did not say anything when we left a five star review for our coordinator who did an amazing job. Beware on the review system as you won't see negative reviews on a lot of vendors.

I really like that there is a lot that you can do from the app. However it glitches a lot. Multiple duplicate messages, missing messages from/to vendors. When I “heart” a vendor sometimes it stays sometimes it disappears. Which is very annoying. When you make changes, it either takes awhile to update or doesn’t at all. It is however nice to have almost everything in one place. I do like the concept. I would be nice to have an option where both my fiancé and I could collaborate together from different places. We take turns doing communicating with vendors. Mostly because we have different work schedules and it does help when we aren’t together to get things done. As well as it allows both of us to ask questions that we may have. Only problem is, think it would be helpful to the vendor to know which of us is talking. Rather than trying to cater to one person who appears to have multiple personalities. Aside from the above and navigating the different areas could could be improved, I do like the app overall. The glitches though…. When you’re a tad stressed…. ?

It has great information to help you along the way but if you live in a bigger city it’s for you if not you can use the checklist. Trying to find vendors is hard at least for my town they have 2 or 3 and that depends on what you are looking at most of them there isn’t any.
