I just restarted chapter 2 because I got stuck just as I was almost finished with it. The portal would not open and there was no way to turn the gazebo. I watched a walkthrough and I did everything as they did but in a different order. Now, just as I’ve restarted chapter 2, I’m stuck on the initial letter... it won’t close for me to do anything.

There’s so many great things to say about this game. The developers did such an amazing job. The graphics were beautiful. The music was beautiful. I loved the story. I do hope they come out with a 3rd one soon!!!!

To be fair, I’m only in the first chapter, but coming fresh off the previous game, it’s a little disappointing. There was real immersion the minute you got in, because you had no idea where you were, who you are, why you’re there, etc. While the identity part of that isn’t possible in a sequel like this, the fact that you get a whole map with a time and date kind of ruins it. Another immersion issue: the graphics are just... bad. So much worse than the last game, no question. The first had real definition in everything, there was a shine to the metal, a grit to the dirt, and every brick felt like something you could reach out and touch if you gave it a little more. But here? It’s like plastic everywhere, nothing is defined and pixels bleed into each other as you look around. It almost feels like you guys stopped caring. I can see that beautiful refinement, that pride that went into the first game in the closeups of some items, but it’s nowhere else. Not that I’ve seen, anyway.

It’s like The National Treasure mix with The Da Vinci Code seeing how all of this from the first game to the second game came into being. Even though I finished the game, still keep on playing. Please, please, keep on making more so that I may know what happens to the avatar I’m playing and who or what is Leonardo Da Vinci truly is.

Really enjoyed House of Da Vinci 2. Looking forward to #3. It’s a game of intrigue. Some areas are simple to complete; some are more difficult and some are near impossible. But isn’t that what keeps the game interesting and hard to put down?

The House of DaVinci games are the tied for best mobile game series with Rusty Lake. Both series have great stories, puzzles and amazing functionality. I greatly recommend this game for any body needing a good mobile puzzle game.

I liked the game, until it bugged out on me. I was stuck in a small garden with a birdcage with no way out. The hint was to set the gears in the cabinet, but there was no cabinet.
