Harder than the first one, but fun.

Though the ending of the game wasn’t that great, it was still fun to play. Very challenging.

Lots of Fun, Lots of Play!

SmartyMartyMartelli

This game was SO much more sprawling and detailed than I expected! I played in one sitting of 6.5 hours, and I loved nearly every second of it. I recommend this game, which is beautifully, rendered, designed, scored, and created. Well worth the price...and then some!

Great variety of puzzles

Seascribe

Not for the novice or the impatient. The DaVincis weave a nice series of puzzles into the story. With little repetition, the second game offers an abundance of challenges with some novel (and sometime frustrating) solutions, including a unique one-off of Rubik’s cube. Time and patience are necessary to enjoy this game, but worth it!

Bad ending

This game was fairly well done, but the story ended poorly. There was no satisfaction at the end. It was simply over. Needed just a bit mor at the end.

Outstanding

Different Destination everyDay

What a fantastic and intriguing game. Just enough storytelling to bind the puzzles together. All solvable with persistence and patience. The hints are helpful when occasionally used. I’m not entirely sure the slider on the top of the banister outside, before getting to the room of mirrors works correctly. Had to do it may times to retrieve the piece hidden. iPhone XR with 13.3.1 I quite enjoyed the whole game! Please make more!

Fun But Too short

Tays012

The game was a lot of fun and challenging. The only problem I have is with the length of the game compared to the price. I was able to beat it after 3 days of playing without any hints. I would also appreciate the ability to zoom in closer to see the small clues and be able to more readily interact with the puzzles. (Perhaps it’s like easier on an iPad) Don’t get me wring the graphics are great and the story line was interesting. I am left wanting more and wondering if the price should have been lower.

SO fun!!

Just loved it!! Can’t wait for the next one.

Can’t solve the “Rubik’s cube”

Henry_4

Maybe a final hint level (4?) should just solve a puzzle... can’t for the life of me solve the Rubik’s cube, I’m not one of those nerds... Update: solved the Rubik’s cube 5 minutes after posting this... so I’m still in business!

Loved it, but I wish the stars were broken down further

I gave the game 5 stars to indicate its quality relative to the typical fare you find in the App Store in this genre (I think people are far too apt to toss a game a 4 or 5 just cuz they kinda liked it). The length of play, graphics, design, and voice work are all excellent. The story is engaging. The puzzles are fun, clever, and sufficiently difficult, without being arbitrary or forcing you to travel back and forth huge distances across the level (two pet peeves of mine). One criticism is that the hint system is awkwardly implemented. Usually, if I needed any hint at all, it was only the last one, so making me wait was just an annoyance. Also, certain controls can be clunky, like when you have to turn/screw in an object. And the game didn’t quite inspire the same level of awe and wonder as the first entry in the series; in other words, it was somewhat lacking in innovation. Really, my primary gripe is that towards the end the puzzles began to rely more heavily on “trial-and-error”. I use quotations marks because I know there’s a systematic way to do some of them, but that’s as much of a pain in the butt as groping around hoping to land on the right answer. I’m playing a game here, guys, not writing a dissertation. Also, that poem at the end is looong, cheesy, and just generally painful. Truly a lowlight of the series. I would say overall a 4-4.25 star game, but I’m happy to round up to help improve the average rating, hopefully increasing downloads and encouraging the studio to make more of these and soon!

Ready for an adventure!?

This has suspense, and mystery combined, and always great graphics. Enjoyed the first and love this one just as much. Puzzles were just right, not to hard but not to impossible. Not going to lie, there were some situations I had to think and rethink, but I love a good challenge. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see and do more.
