Great puzzles, only one of which completely defeated me. Terrific graphics too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the silly ending. No need for details on that, just a cautionary note. Aside from that, da vinci 2 rates up with The Room and Myst.

Really enjoyed this second installment. The puzzles are unique and just challenging enough. Fun characterization, too. Hopefully there will be a 3rd installment?
A Great Game in Every Way!

This game is technically tops with it’s animation, narration and 3D digitals. Loved the fun storyline and challenging puzzles! I had to stop playing a few times and take a nap to get my mind in order, but logical thinking got me through! If you‘re planning to release a House of Da Vinci 3, I’m sold! Thanks for not including any spiritism in your game, that creeps me out so I won’t play the Room.

This, like the first in the series, includes a puzzle that cannot be solved without luck. The altar in the library has no logical solution, and luck of the spin is counter to an intelligent solution.

This game was well put together. The way the storyline worked out well with the inventive items to figure out and put together, in addition to the unexpected end of the game (looking forward to the next installment !). The mechanical games were enjoyable and helps you think outside of the box. The hints provided in the game are beneficial when you’re stuck. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a game that gets your wheels turning!

Not long enough, unsatisfying cutscenes

I was disappointed that this sequel was much shorter than the original. The cutscenes are boring and the voice acting is poor. The story is set in Italy, they should have Italian accents! I feel the developer spent too much time on these scenes and should have created additional chapters instead. Fortunately the stages are beautiful and the puzzles are very well done. Great hint system as well.
Achievements not working?

The game is fantastic. I liked it better than the first game. I took off a star due to the very long poem at the end, which I felt took too long. Also the story became hard to follow, for me anyway. How do I access achievements? My first time playing was after the latest update and I never unlocked an achievement nor do I see a menu for achievements. Edit: I found the achievement menu, it’s the star on the bottom right of the main menu. It seems I have been unlocking achievements without any notifications popping up. I also changed my rating to 5 stars. :)
