Stunned that it has no organization or table of contents by subject, area of interest, author..how do I find what I want to read without scroll through every last article..you have great writers who I only find when someone quotes them in Twitter..big disappointment-thought I had old version so I deleted and downloaded. Same...

Surprisingly lousy app for a reputable news site

Given the great content of The Daily Beast and its reputation as a valuable news site, I'm amazed at how lousy this app is. Even with a fast WiFi connection, the app is maddeningly slow at loading, and often crashes when doing so. I don't even attempt to launch the app in cellular mode. At this point, it's far easier for me to access the website directly via a web browser. And if that's not the definition of a terrible app, I don't know what is.

I second everything previous reviewers have said. I'm deleting it after months of frustration. Why have an app if all it is doing is frustrating your readers? Bye bye Daily Beast.

I had to delete this app because it's completely unusable. While I enjoy the content of the website, the app freezes on my phone immediately when I open it. It needs a major redo.

This has to be the biggest waste of time app I've ever tried to use. When it loads, which is a miracle, it takes forever. Honestly, why does this app exist? If you're looking for an app that doesn't load and has a spinning circle at the top, this is the app for you.

This is the worst app I've ever used. In fact, I give it NO stars! Whenever I try to open it, which is increasing rare, the screen appears to be frozen for long periods of time. Occasionally, after multiple tries, it will eventually open. But I've become so fed up with how poor this app is designed that I think I'm going to cancel the app all together. Too bad the iPhone app isn't nearly as good as the iPad one!

For over 18 months now I've waited for the Daily Beast to fix the bugs on this app. Several "updates" later and it still takes forever to load. No other news site has these problems--the DB needs to sack its IT people. Great content is useless if you can't access it.
