This new app is more difficult to navigate than the old app. Additionally, I can't retrieve my previously saved stories, or touch to define a word.

Can not get the notification to clear no matter what I try. Also, not a fan of the format. Too clustered, too many ads. One article has symbols instead of actual letters every time the word "fiancé" was written. May decide to drop it, we'll see when the next update comes out (hopefully soon!)

Not a fan. The original displayed info needed and was more user friendly than current version. Access to obits and death notices is not easy since updates.

They embedded a red #1 notification into the app graphic to falsely embellish open rates. Cheesy and small time. #Fakenews. So now I get a lame response that it's a design bug. Right. It's classic gutter design tactic to boost open rates.

You ******* morons! Update huh? Better experience? You useless POS software engineers! It's ******* blank! It says no connection even when we sigh in. In addition every time the app is stopped ya gotta sign back on you idiots. Get it ******* fixed or I'll drop this rag of a paper... It's better but still needs WORK! E-edition access doesn't work. Why put **** up that doesn't work? Do you debug? Do you try the APP yourself? Embarrassing. What's the business link? Where are the stories? Click on photos for stories? Really? That's it?? BTW it's much better. It's about time. Now it's worthy. Thank You!

When I subscribed to The News for electronic only, I thought I would be getting (paying for) the same content as the hard copy. When I found the app was light on content - especially on Sundays, i started downloading the pdf version of the full paper. Unfortunately, since the most recent update, that's impossible because the "e-edition" doesn't launch at all from the link provided. I would think the functional dynamics of the "new and improved" app and e-edition would have been fully vetted prior to launch. Close to canceling entirely.

The old app was annoying with ads. However, this one just cuts out and dies. Having contacted the News ( I pay for a 365/day/year sub for the actual newspaper and the app..... well, News, if you can do this right on Android? Why not on Apple????
