Stellar on iPad. Not optimized for iPhone.

This game gets 10 stars on the iPad, but I was disappointed when I left my iPad at work and tried to play it on my phone tonight. I have the new iPhone 12, but I’m pretty sure it would have been a problem on the older ones too — the menu at the top is cut off by the speaker/camera cutout at the top of the screen. Nbd just use it in landscape mode right? Wrong. That way, the menu at the bottom is cut off by the home “button” (the slider that gives you your home/you app switcher). Anyway, I’m completely hooked on this game and annoyed I missed an evening of good quality gaming because it really is that good. The gameplay is varied, interesting, and the procedurally generated maps make it fascinating to play and replay. I’m super satisfied with the 4 different gameplay styles in the basic pack but won’t hesitate at All to buy the IAPs when I’ve played through these. Will happily give these folks money... especially if they can fix the iPhone compatibility issues ?

More content/game modes

Me and my friends would love to play on the same team against an enemy team. Or human and AI Team 1 vs human AI Team 2. I dont think sharing star income or stuff like that, but it allows you to see their map view and no movement penalties when around each other’s units. Would be cool to see a sudden death match mode where you start off with 3 level 3 cities and 50 stars. I would enjoy being able to select map “types”: costal, lakes, landlocked, islands... things like that. Would be great to build multiple road tiles without having to click multiple times each tile. On that note it would be great if you optimized where the buttons are located for clicking OK and stuff, I play this game with one hand and its ANNOYING to constantly click at the top and at the bottom at the top and at the bottom and at the top and at the bottom.... just sayin Hate to say it, but the game is getting kinda stale otherwise. PLEASE ADD MORE MODES AND ABILITY TO TEAM Edit to rating: 1 star due to complete lack of meaningful updates. Game is way to simple to just leave it alone like this after you pushed out the update for computer. Can’t believe people will sit down at a computer to play this.

Amazing, but could be better

The game is amazing. I love it, it manages to capture everything a mobile strategy game should be. It’s almost perfect, it just needs a few more things. One of them is the ability to choose the AI enemy’s tribe. It’s very inconvenient and I wish you could choose the enemy ai’s tribe when playing local. The other thing, which is less of a complaint and more of a recommendation, is custom skill trees. The Polaris has a custom skill tree, and it is amazing. It changes the whole game for the better. If only more tribes had custom skill tress like that. Besides those two things, though, the game is phenomenal. The developers killed it

It’s like a dumbed down version of civ

Easily my favorite strategy game!

Hi Midjiwan, I understand that this review will probably never be looked at. I’m also well aware that you are a small company and that it takes a while to add major updates. First of all, the gameplay is awesome! I love strategy games, and this is one of the best ones. As of this review, the app is rated #153 for strategy games on the AppStore. What a joke! Then again, this is a list that has Pokémon Go in the top 5. The game is simple enough for most people to understand and enjoy, but it has some complexity and deeper strategy, which I like. I’m glad that it is not as hard as the Civilization games, which I find too long and complex. Please don’t try to make this game more realistic, the simplicity is what makes it so great! That and the art. The art style is really cool and really expresses each tribes’ personalities. I know a lot of negative reviews whine about having to buy tribes, which is really annoying. What do you expect from an ad free game? I’m not a fan of in app purchases to get over some stupid paywall or to buy in-game currencies and nonsense. Plus, the purchases don’t feel pushed at all. I feel good about paying a couple dollars to support a developer that actually makes good content. In fact, I decided to buy all of the tribes. Yeah, so maybe more than a couple. Perhaps you could add a bundle for all of the tribes for a dollar or two less in total? I don’t mind online multiplayer being cost a dollar at least, but maybe I’m biased because when the feature came out, I already had most of the tribes. Still, it’s not fair that there are a fair amount of negative reviews because 9 year olds can’t get the full game for free and support an amazing developer. One thing I would like to be added is team battles. I’m pretty sure you have that covered in a future update though. Thank you for reading my ridiculously long review. I hope to see more from you in the future! Update: Moonrise is awesome! I’m glad it’s finished so you can actually update the game now. I also figured out Hexonia was a thing. What a joke! That is a perfect example of money hungry. Maybe for fun you can copy something from them. They can’t accuse you for copying ;)!

My purchases aren’t there any more - this game has officially stolen money from me with no way to get my purchases back.
