The game is very great, i love games with army commands and can adapt to your own game style, but the fact that you have to buy 90% of the tribes is a little bit much.. even though it is a literal dollar per tribe.. most of them.. but i think that if you manage to get a 3 star game you should be able to get a free tribe, each tribe you get a 3 star win on will unlock a random tribe, 1 time per tribe.. and you unlock all the special tribes when you get every tribe in the game with a 3 star win.. but its a little mind trick, optional pay-to-win is key.. it seems obtainable but people wouldn't want to do the grind so they buy it instead.. still cant buy special tribes still.. I love this game it is so fun I have bought one tribe and I am glad I recommend it.

The programming is stacked against the player

Since there are no in game purchases to improve your chances to win, you would think the game would be rather fair. But the AI lets the computer opponents cheat. When hidden from view AI units fire twice at yours, appear from no where and they never run out of money until you take away every one of their cities. At lower levels the game is fun, but becomes boring. Move to harder levels and it is just frustrating. At hard level you get a 40% reduction in your final score for “difficulty”. At Crazy level, opponent giants magically appear at the worst moments, in fact even when you occupy their city, but not captured the opponents can have giants appear in that city and kick your unit out. Not fun! After coming back after a lay-off, the game has not gotten better. No new content which is the only way to enjoy the game since AI cheats.

I got this game a few years ago because I saw some friends playing it. I didn’t know what I was getting in to, it just looked fun to play. Now, this is one of my favorite games.

Fantastic game

TLJ was 10/10

I have played this game so much either with one of my friends or when I’m procrastinating homework. My only gripe is the map size tops off at 324 tiles and if you play with all the tribes it isn’t as fun because the game has to fit all the different environments in that space. I’m still gonna play the game but I wish the maps were bigger.

I love this game, others will love it too if there is multiplayer on it. I feel like it could become the next popular game! Streamers or you tubers would be able to play it and it could get popular

When do my catapults gain the ability to move and fire twice each turn like the ai? When do my warriors gain the ability to deal >10hp with each strike at basic level regardless of level, terrain, or tech? When do I gain the ability to create and move 2 or more units in each city each turn as the ai does? When do my archers gain the ability to kill any unit on the board, in any terrain, regardless of tech development, in two strikes at basic level like the ai?
