I love this game, but they desperately need to add a mechanic where you set a course for your troops to travel instead of making you move them every single turn. At the end of games, when it’s all out war and each side has tons of fighters, it gets too overwhelming to move all 50 people.

Developers, help! I just started playing again recently because of the new creative mode, but when I try to select a tribe, their backgrounds are black instead of blue and the “pick” button is grayed out as if I haven’t purchased the tribe (this is for all tribes except Aquarion… which I haven’t purchased yet. All others have a black background). I’ve tried rebooting the app and it doesn’t work. Other game modes work fine. I would really like to play creative mode but I’ve only gotten it to work twice so far. I’m on an iPhone 12.

This game reminds me of that magical chess game they play in Harry Potter! I’ve had this game downloaded for years now and I’ve gotten at least 99% on all of them. Crazy good game

I would be really cool if you could team up with friends in the game and have teams.

There are a list of things that could change 1. Adding diplomacy would keep the game from becoming just constant warfare 2. Being able to raze cities would allow for strategical losses 3. IT TAKES WAY TOO LONG TO DO TURNS IN LATE GAME. there’s no way to skip so you have to wait through every ai’s movement for each unit.

Can you fix a bug, I can’t connect to multiplayer (I purchased a tribe) I just want to play this awesome, cool game with my friends

Polytopia is an incredibly fun game that clearly has a lot of passion put into it by its devs. The gameplay is simple enough to quickly grasp but deep enough to not become boring too fast. The only true complaint I have is that late game, stalemates can develop which might be possible to win but will take multiple real life hours to get past. Additionally it would be great if there was a way to watch ads to earn additional civilizations. Regardless, I highly recommend you give it a try.

This is undoubtedly one of, if not THE best iOS game I’ve ever played. It is incredibly strategic and appeals to the scheming plotter inside of me. Every game I’ve played has been ridiculously interesting and diverse with seemingly no absolute meta or best strategy which keeps every game even. I love that the game completely resolves around whatever a persons favorite play style is. I would like to highly recommend some form of messaging feature between friends however. Being able to communicate with the people you play against would actually be amazing because it introduces a social sphere into the game which would consequently make it more competitive. I personally found myself a rival who I’ve played countless rounds with trying completely different strategies and it would be fun to actually communicate with them. But anyway, yeah this game is not at all money hungry and supports one of the most entertaining and upscaled versions of a chess match that I have ever indulged in. It has easily been my guilty pleasure for endless hours of enjoyment, I would highly recommend this game as the number one best strategy game on the App Store.
