Fit for purpose

FDYocum

Brings simplicity to the often complex process of setting up a Latex system. Works off line as well as on.

Most stupid version

After the update it can't compile the file over iPad Pro any longer. A waste of time and money!

Very bad

This app is a real disapointment. It migh look good but it is so increadibly slow in making pdfs (I am using iPad Air 2 so it should be lightning fast). It is simply unusable. Do yourself a favor and buy TeXwriter instead, it is at least very fast in making even complicated pdfs.

Dropbox Sync Fails -- Loses Progress

PhilosophyDan

I've had the sync to Dropbox fail a few times. A couple of times, this meant that I just lost a bunch of changes to my documents. Why doesn't it at least save them locally as well? I really can't use this if I can't rely on Dropbox sync to not destroy my work.

Excellent App!

I own both versions of Texpad (iOS and macOS) and I really appreciate both of them and use them daily for all my Latex work. I highly recommend this app.

LaTex in your pocket!

Acyed

It has every package I've needed. Great app

Files do not save, Bibliography does not compile

NDT123

Even the most current version of this app (1.7.6) has an irritating tendency to crash. A typical rate is three crashes in an hour, after which any changes made several minutes before the crash are not kept. Lately, this app also has a bizarre tendency to lag whenever a math mode delimiter $ is typed. I find myself waiting for ten seconds or more for a "$"to appear after pressing shift+4. This makes the app almost unusable.

Love it!

e^(i*pi)+1=0

Does what I need it to do! Like that it's on the iPad and like the updating without me having to ask for compiling. I would like a smaller keyboard in landscape orientation- or maybe a split keyboard- something easier for me to type on.

great app!

When I first started using TeXPad, I was surprised at how many features it had (eg, autocompletion of environments, delimiter matching) and how easy it was to use. I've never had a problem with it crashing. I use my ipad with a bluetooth keyboard for anything work-related, so I've never really used the app's keyboard(s). It's been great for me!
