The app is not user friendly

To be honest I don’t like TD Ameritrade. The app is not user friendly. I put in an order to buy it gets expired, after 4 days of hold time for certain stocks it still doesn’t let me buy what I want. Honestly the stocks they do let me buy I could just stay on Robinhood and buy from them. I do not like this Place
Buggy - Not good for day traders

The devs need to fix bugs on the app. Specifically, sometimes it’s difficult for the login page to pop up, and I can’t access my account... forcing me to login to desktop. Multiple occasions, this has caused me to lose % on trades (e.g. volatile, multi-billion market cap stock literally moving +15% in less than a minute) which is extremely frustrating for those who trade frequently. Did not have this problem with Charles Schwab, just saying.

1. I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to speak to someone in Customer Service (800 number); finally, after waiting an hour, I was able to talk to an agent, and this is during normal times. 2. Field Offices closed and phones “ring off the hook.” Why can’t field office personnel work out of their homes, like other businesses are doing. This would solve a lot of problems. 3. Website contradicts itself. 4. I will soon be transferring my account to Fidelity. If TD Ameritrade/Charles Schwab can’t provide decent customer service, and field office personnel aren’t allowed to work out of their homes (like other businesses i.e., Wells Fargo, Loan Depot, etc., it appears the merger is a smoke screen and these companies are in trouble.

Why is it so hard to make a purchase? I use Robinhood for most stock trades and it’s a click of a button. With this app I have to break out my calculator to figure out how many shares to buy with the dollar amount I have then answer a bunch of boxes. It should calculate that for me like every other stock app on the planet. Good thing I’m only trying to invest in one stock outside of Robinhood with this thing. And your charts are horribly slow to load and very messy.
