A great resource for all sorts of tasks

I booked two different services for the same day - my first time using this app. It was a breeze, and I was so impressed with the quality of the two people who came to my rescue. One person cleaned my house and readied it for guests, and another put together a wardrobe for the guest bedroom. This app allowed me to transform my house in just a matter of hours for a reasonable cost. I now have two “Favorite Taskers” I can trust in my home when I’m not there and call on again. I love this app!

The first time I hired someone it wasn’t a great experience. So I didn’t use this app again. I bought a sofa from IKEA and they no longer have their own assembly people and they referred me to Task Rabbit. I was assigned Bilan and what a great job he did! I will continue to use Task Rabbit again.

This app is the biggest scam you can imagine, they will take your money and not provide the services , also you can email them and they will never respond you . I’m only giving a 1 star because I can’t write the review without one . STAY WAY FROM THIS APP

Of course the people are independent contractors so sometimes you get work that’s not as you would like. Still it’s a good place to find someone.

Great, but custom tipping?

Super easy to find a Tasker, hire, schedule, pay, communicate. Really great service. I was only a little miffed that you couldn’t customize the tip! For some jobs, the difference btwn 15% and 20% is significant enough that you may want to split the difference. Not a big enough deal that I won’t use them again, though.

Horrible app doesn’t value your work

If you are a handyman this is a horrible app it doesn’t value you as worker or skills but even worst there is no costumer support and it takes weeks to get paid. Very disappointing! I will definitely stop using it a waste of time and money since at the beginning they charge some sort of setup fee. And yes the live chat would be an awesome, it is a shame that who ever answer me had no idea on how to help me and just gave me a generic answer in hope I would go away. The incompetence of TaskRabbit support team as reached new nights. Now do to confidentiality they claim they can’t tell me where my payment was sent to. Stay tuned for the next updates

Ponzi scheme much?!

Almost thought this was legit.... until they sneak in a $25 registration fee that’s not refundable even if you can’t become a tasker for some reason. So basically they’re charging you $25 to work?! A company should NEVER charge you money and/or make the employee incur the cost of any credit/background checks. Instacart doesn’t do this and I imagine TaskRabbit with be bankrupt soon from these SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Looks like someone couldn’t sell or secure more funding- thank good. Good riddance Task Rabbit, I wouldn’t wipe my butt with your app.
