So I started using task rabbit because I had such a small move and it was cheaper than paying a moving company to do it. But I put that I need a truck for my task and it well match me with Taskers but the tasker will message me saying “I’ll need to get a Uhaul for this which will be an additional amount of money” like if you don’t have a truck or what is necessary to complete the task then why take it? I can rent a uhaul for cheaper and do it myself. Like it’s super frustrating and then I have to cancel and they charge me because the tasker wasn’t equipped for the job.
This is so easy to use!

I didn’t know what to think the first time I used this, but it seems so easy to use. I love that you can schedule something that works around your schedule without having to wait all day for someone to show which can be very frustrating. So far I am only using it to put together Ikea furniture but from browsing the categories it could be very helpful for doing other tasks like hanging pictures, painting and I even saw yard work on there. Plus the bonus is that you can select which tasker you want to utilize.

Almost thought this was legit.... until they sneak in a $25 registration fee that’s not refundable even if you can’t become a tasker for some reason. So basically they’re charging you $25 to work?! A company should NEVER charge you money and/or make the employee incur the cost of any credit/background checks. Instacart doesn’t do this and I imagine TaskRabbit with be bankrupt soon from these SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Looks like someone couldn’t sell or secure more funding- thank god. Good riddance Task Rabbit, I wouldn’t wipe my butt with your app. ALSO... DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR “BACKGROUND CHECK” FEE! APPS SUCH AS INSTCART PAY THE FEE THEMSELVES AS A COMPANY AND DONT EXPECT THEIR SHOPPERS TO FOOT THE BILL BEFORE THEY'VE EVEN MADE MONEY ON THE PLATFORM. This is a scam, if ever there was one!!!’

You have to pay 25$ to apply ? they throw that in there after you put in all youre information, which is really annoying because i spent 20 minutes filling out qualifications and everything else, worst app, id rather shovel poop for free than pay 25$ for a application on crappy app.

This was the easiest time I’ve had tackling a heavy duty chore. The app is excellent but our helper, Scott was professional, efficient and took great care of our furniture. Highly recommend him and this app.

i’ve used taskrabbit several times and had a pleasant experience every time. the taskers are generally specialized in what they do and i love this app! the app is user friendly and the taskers are all very communicative and respond very quickly.
