1945 saw the end of the ‘Great Patriotic War’ as the inevitable defeat of the German’s came about. The Wehrmacht put up a desperate defense as the Red Army advanced across Poland, the Baltic States and eastern Germany. The game ends with the German’s final attempt to win the war with their super weapons in the appearance of the monster German Maus tank.
Missions vary from straightforward wipe out the enemy missions, to capture key objectives, to protecting vital supply convoys and constructing bridges to assault the enemy. There is a whole range of missions to reflect the tactical complexity on warfare on the Eastern Front.
The game system is based on, and a major upgrade of, the successful game engine developed for ‘Tank Battle: North Africa’. Tank Battle: East Front 1941, 1942, 1943 and 1944 are already available from the App Store.

I love the tank battle series, all greatly formulated stratify games with fantastic gameplay, great graphics and ww2 models. I've beaten them all to the deepest hardest of levels, and I'm still enjoying it, thank you for creating them! I can't wait for eastern front 1945, and I also really enjoy 2 player, please do more with it!

Another fun, quality game. I never thought I'd ever say this, but playing the 1945 version, I almost wish the war went on another year.
Panzer Blitz!

This series of games reminds me of the old Panzer Blitz and Panzer Leader games of my youth. I played those games every week for hours at a time, and I play these games hours every week now. Now, all they need to do is recreate the same game for the European West front!

It is similar to the earlier Tank Battles, but with a lot more details and types of units. If you like turn based war games you'll probably like this one too. Certainly worth the $1.99.
