1943 was the year of the great tank battles of World War Two. The Soviet forces are no longer retreating and are now able to go head to head with the German panzers armies in open battle. The Germans, responding to their shock on facing the impressive Soviet T-34, field their ‘super weapons’ with the Tiger Tank appearing in increasing numbers, and by June the deadly Panther Tank.

Missions vary from straightforward wipe out the enemy missions, to capture key objectives, to protect vital supply convoys. There is a whole range of missions to reflect the tactical complexity of warfare on the Eastern Front.

The game system is based on, and a major upgrade of, the successful game engine developed for ‘Tank Battle: North Africa’. Tank Battle East Front: 1941 and Tank Battle East Front: 1942 are already available from the App Store. More Tank Battle: East Front missions will follow with the release of Tank Battle: East Front 1944 and 1945 in the coming weeks.

Terrific Addition to Eastern Front
Lt. Mack

This is the best from Hex War. Added New Units to Armor and Infantry. Very Realistic. Only ask that they send Update for 1944 Western Front. Great 2 Player game wish they would add More

Pretty good but...
DermMan

Could be better. The first mission in campaign mode are purely training, so in fact there are only 2 missions. The battles themselves are fun, but easee peasee! Not challenging in the most difficult mode. That said I do enjoy all their games. They have just become less challenging and lacking in complexity like Rome or the Civil War Series

Awesome!

Being a gamer since '70, dating from Avalon Hill board games, I find this series top shelf. Once your buddies marry gaming ends, unless...these 'short time', very realistic, scenario games fill the bill.

Infantry battles
Anthonyengel

Add some infantry only large scale battles. Maybe some house to house kind of stuff or a hilly terrain map with only infantry and artillary

Continued evolution of a great hex war tank series
Huhwhatduh

I am not sorry that is spent the 2$. This series continues to evolve, just as the war technology did. Nicely paced. Hunted Cow, please consider a Naval series, and the Napoleanic campaigns. How about a "Turning Point" series with classic battles that decided history: Cannae, Adrianople, Salamis, etc.

Western front 1943

Wasting to much time on first set of games. Teaching such simple maneuvers is a waste of our money and your talents. Forget these ideas and give us a game that challenges us. By 1943 you should have gained this information already.

Great, but less than expected
Paladin 34

I really miss the long epic campaigns of former tank battle games. These new missions are so small and short, and there's so few of them. I love the game mechanics and new features, but paying 1.99 for two mission sets of 8 short scenarios is a bit sad. Was done with it completely in a week. I really hope Tank Battle 1944 is worth it. Please, give us back the epic worth if feeling when we buy a tank battle game? I'm really looking forward to 44 please don't be a disappointment.

Outstanding

Game was worth the wait.

Wonderful Games

Really like these Hunter Cow games! Keep up the good job and keep them coming. However, on these WWII games it would be great if you could play either side at each scenario ( like in your Ancient Battles series)
