Top Notch

Nvoshall

I was a huge fan of the Axis and Allies Miniatures game, and spent the longest time trying to find a digital version. This is almost an exact replica of that type of gameplay. The missions do seem a bit short, and I wish there was a sort of Freeplay mode, for replay ability value. However, top notch game for what Hunted Cow is trying to do. Keep it up!

Great game

I like the game mechanics and scenarios

Close combat

Reminds me of close combat and it's awesome!!! Please do one for the battle of Iwo Jima!!

Great Game

I'll buy all 5 in the series eventually. Big :)

Wonderful

Duncan ok

Hexwars has this genre DOWN. Own all eastern front games, North Africa, Normandy, Worth every dime. I still play all of them over and over.

Great game

Overall, a great game. Having said that, some scenarios are not well balanced and you can easily be overrun by the enemy or overrunning them easily. About one in five scenarios are like this.

Impossible level

Loved all of the games until I got to level 6 of push back. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I can find no way to get to the enemy and engage quickly enough to complete in 15 rounds. Insane frustration. Not a whole lot of fun.

From great to trash to great

Bought complete series (1943 - 1945) for my original IPad. Put many hours enjoyable gaming. They made revision, now it doesn't work. Please fix. 4 months later - works perfectly now. Tiger tanks, Elefants, JagPanthers, T-34, KVs, JS II. Thank you for fixing. Have 2 questions - 1) my original IPad supports up to OS 5.1, how can I buy & run your apps requiring OS 6? 2) How can I get the add-on "Push back"?

Garbage

Once again, there are levels in the expansion pack that were never beta tested - they cannot be won. Period. Hexwar is without a doubt the laziest software company I've ever encountered; it is sooooo easy to get people to beta test your products, why do they refuse to do it? Apple needs to remove them from iTunes until they start behaving properly. It's that simple.

Strategy at its Finest

Thinkpad9

Wonderful smooth GUI, historically accurate, another think in persons game. Keep'me coming!
