Takes way too much of these workers money

Tackle is not a fair company. Takes too much of a percent from the workers. I can’t support that and will be deleting the app.

Steven arrived today even a little early. He did a wonderful job for me. I am very pleased. He is a very personable man.

I was really excited to use this but once I got started I found it to be confusing. Customer service is slow and not helpful. THEN, once you start a project they text you EVERY 30 MINS. Ridiculous. Stay away!

This is the 3rd time I have used Takl and all 3 people were great. Kudos to Takl and I hope you guys get rich. Great idea at just the right time.

Handyman for 4 hours

The tackle handyman arrived as planned and was very pleasant. He looked at the soffit repair and said I would need materials. I suggested that since the booking was four hours we should have time to go to Home Depot get the materials and bring them back. The repair man, Fred, apparently needed permission to go to Home Depot. While we spent 23 minutes waiting for a response from control center, I decided I would go and get the two boards myself. I was back in 20 minutes with the two boards. Fred completed the job in one hour and did a fabulous job. Although the app said I should have materials on site, how would I know what to purchase in advance? That does not make sense to me and that was why I called a repair man, I do not know how to fix a garage soffit. Although the job was done well, communication to control center and permission for Fred to leave the premises was sub par. I don’t know if I will use Takl again. The job took one hour and I paid for 4 hours.

Your site is difficult to navigate you cannot ask the handyman to do several jobs at the same time. The tip is not correct because you don’t have a period to separate the amount.

No help with provider problems.

I had a provider install a garbage disposal wrong, as the guy had no idea what he was doing. I notified Takl via their chat function and they were basically like oh well, we’ll give you a discount on your next job...there will be no next job. Some providers may be good...but many lie about their experience. If you need plumbing or electrical work...call a licensed pro...don’t use Takl... you will be sorry!!!

Rip offs and liars

Had one of their contractors come out to my house and mow my yard a blind person could’ve mowed my yard better than he did I took pictures after the job is over and disputed the charges with Takl. They said it was under review then the next thing I know they charge my card I contacted them and asked why they never got in touch with me about the dispute they claim they sent me several emails I went back and checked I never received those emails I even checked my spam folder they weren’t there either then the contractor claims he came back to my house and finish my yard and fixed it this also was a lie.
