What a joke! Task rabbit and thumbtack are way better.

Handyman help

southbay client

Thank you Takl for helping us find the right person to do a small job of hanging a mirror on a tile wall. We needed professional help but only for a small task that took less than an hour. So to have an app that can cater to that is fantastic. Everything about setting up an appt. was super easy. Please continue to vet the contractors you allow to sign up on the App, to ensure safety and credibility.

Prompt and Professional Service

HeriMartinez

I needed a job done quickly and it happened notwithstanding the fact that it was mid morning Saturday when I placed the request. Mid afternoon the job was done. Can’t beat that quick and professional response!!!

Thank you

Garbage Disposer Replacement

TAKL-er

First time TAKL user and I’m very satisfied. Ralph was able to come earlier than scheduled and did an excellent job.

Takl won’t make me whole.

Geekdiva913

There are a ton of amazing apps out there, that are working hard to build relationships and thinking hard about the long term. Takl is not one of them. Takl double charged me for a single service, and now tells me that it’s my own fault and they will not make it right. I hate to call out a single company, as I think it’s bad karma, but this one is not owning the transaction at all. First it was the providers fault, and they threw him completely under the bus, now it’s my fault for misunderstanding their policies on my very first use. I would have accepted a credit, or even a polite conversation, but that didn’t happen. They are not speaking to my provider at all, not returning his calls, and they are incredibly rude to me. Don’t use them. Go with Handy or Care, with whom I’ve had great experiences.

We got taken

Johnnyretail

We have three Barnwood doors to get installed! Tackle provider accepts the job, he gets to the condo and tells us it’s going to be renegotiated and triples the amount he agreed to, we were in a pinch so we agreed! I leave to go to the store come back to find out he has shaken down my girlfriend for another $60 cash and wants to do some funky creative and style… He spends all day at our place and does not install the three doors and actually He installed one door upside down that’s why he was taking so long because he had to redo that. He came back the second day And got two doors installed and told us it’s going to be another $100 to install the third door or he’s not going to finish the job. Of course he tells me this when I left to go pick up lunch and by the time I got back he is gone! For fear that he would come back and vandalize our place I just want to head and paid him! The two doors that he didn’t stall we had to have reinstalled correctly! This is been almost a full month ago nobody from TAKL has reached out to us safe to say we will never use TAKL again!

Ceiling Light Replacement

Spindra

I needed two ceiling light fixtures replaced. Contacted Takl to give them a try. I was very pleased with the prompt response to my work request. Within an hour I had the job booked And it was done at the appointed day and time. Very easy way to get projects done!

Terrible experience

Kywildcatz

Submitted a request to have a TV hung. Pretty simple request right. Three options. Now within the hour. Today or flexible. Sounds great right. I selected flexible and even said it could be later in the week. I live in a city with over 2.5 million people. Not a single person wanted to come hang a TV. When you submit your request it comes up and says give us a second and we can provide you a provider. No one responded for over a day. I canceled the request and used PULS instead. Booked and confirmed in 2 minutes. They don’t have enough contractors to do the work.
