Great app for Lyme Dusease

ShghgcfGbxf

This is the simplest and best medical tracking app I have found. I love how clear it is. It would be great to see a checklist section for what is being done to manage symptoms. Ex: detox bath, ate healthy meals, etc.

awesome! 2 feature requests

written 2017-09-04 this app is great! it used to be that whenever something would happen (e.g. biting my mouth, stubbing my toe, or accidentally whacking my hand on something) i'd forget about it and then wonder why i had pain the next day. now i keep track using symple. this is a self-measuring app, and i think it will be one of many possible data sources for communicating with doctors in the future. it will help avoid the frog-in-boiling-water phenomenon, as we can see a relatively clear picture of how things changed over time and potentially trace the origins of any slow-growing ailments. with health-tracking wearables and self-reporting apps, i think we'll have enough input data to predict/detect issues such as cancer further in advance better than just doctor check-ups alone. feature requests 1. +1 for dark theme 2. ability to either sort factors manually, or rename them so i can name them such that related ones are next to each other (as a result of them being sorted alphabetically) 3. also, it has the ability to do reminders; why not take it one step further to make customizable reminders like "remember to take this medication now"? right now i'm using both apple reminders and todoist to remember things and sometimes i still forget because i have too many reminders/todoists and don't pay attention to all of them, but having the symple notifications (which i pay more attention to than reminders/todoist notifications) that go directly to the relevant tab in the app are super handy.

Terrific

This is so much more helpful and easy to use than most other trackers. I'd like to see the ability to add a custom symptom. Aside from that the app is a breeze to use - and we do.

Disappointed

This "free" app, isn't actually useful until you pay the upgrade fee which currently is $9.99. Why would you do this?

Not great

Crypple

I paid for the $10 full version thinking it would become more functional but it’s still not great. The 5 point scale is really limiting, needs 10, and without the ability to export a daily graph over a given time period this app is close to useless for actual reporting. In the FAQ’s thy say this scenario is ‘unlikely’ however its absolutely essential. How else will my doc know when I took pain meds to mitigate symptoms on a daily basis over time? Hoping for an improvement but switching to a different app.

Handy but not super intuitive

Some symptoms don't make sense to track at as high of resolution as partial days, so that's kinda funny, and I wish it was easier to see the longitudinal trends for multiple symptoms and factors simultaneously. Still, it's a great and friendly little app that helps me to track my info and feels pretty trustworthy.

A good app, just doesn’t track everything I need to keep an eye on

I tried to keep it short, Sorry •This is an extremely thorough, fairly easy to navigate and a really good place to track my moods, activities and what may have played into the day and I can pinpoint an action to a problem. e.g. difficulty falling asleep, because the tiny human and I crashed on the couch after the dog park. Related symptoms to activities. •I also like that it syncs with the Apple “Health App,” it can record factors that I may have forgotten. • I think the doctor (print out) information is a wonderful concept, it’s just A LOT of information and, I feel, poorly designed. I usually just take notes, in my notebook or my own spreadsheet to record dates, symptoms and factors to tell my doctors. •Also, I am not thrilled with the lack of ability to track medications taken, I suppose it could be put in the “Factors” column, but that’s another ball of wax, and can easily be done on another application. •Finally, overview, if I want to see a week of my recordings I have to go to each day or wade through the doctor report. A weekly or monthly view with symptoms that are checked “yes” in each column would be better, but an algorithm nightmare! Overall I give it a 4, it’s a very good app, but ,for me, does not include everything I have to review. have had a hellish year of multiple surgeries, medication changes and I’m pretty sure all the medication has deleted my ability to remember. This app is great, I was able to modify the visible symptoms, and I love that it automatically syncs with the Health Data app as well as my Apple Watch Information. I have not yet explored the connection between my diet tracking application, and the information sharing between the two. But, I don’t log food in the Health application.

Exporting data in a visual representation

Mountain20girl

I love the factors and the symptoms of this app, but if you could export it as a graph or chart to see the visual data that would be nice . I would also like to have the journaling section to be free.

Not free or useful.

Unless you can pay for the service this app is useless. It only lets you track 5 symptoms and most of my symptoms weren't even listed as options.

Best symptom tracking app out there

samrecord

This is still the best app of its kind, but there is own usability issue that really grates on me. When you have a lot of symptoms to track as I do, the order of the symptoms often changes when swiping through different days. If The default is set to alphaNumeric order, it should stay that way, but sometimes it doesn’t. This is a big pain point for me. Seems to occur when I toggle a symptom on or off (which I have to do weekly because I have just way too many symptoms). This seems to affect my “today” symptoms listing the most. Please fix this. Thanks. ————————- Previous review 2016 - 5 stars Title of my review says it all. And I've done my research. Apart from the peerless features and usability of this app, another great aspect of the app is that it is frequently updated. It addition, the developer/owner of the app is very responsive if you need to communicate with her. There are a few other features that I'm requesting of the developer right now. Hopefully some of these requested features will appear in future iterations.
