Great app!

This has helped greatly for my doctors and I to identify various factors that influence my pain and figure out things to focus on. I only wish it could take the standard 1-10 pain ratings as an option, but not enough to make it less than 5 stars.

I heart this app!! Soooo awesome!

I've only been using this app for a few days but I'm already finding it incredibly useful for tracking my symptoms. After you set up your symptoms and the factors that may be affecting them (which takes maybe 2 minutes), it's so quick and easy to enter your data and start tracking. Even if you want to track something outside the framework the app imposes (a 1-5 scale of severity), it's pretty easy to adapt the system so you can track what you want. Say you want to track frequency of your trips to the bathroom instead of severity. You can just make a note in the journal (or elsewhere if you don't want to pay for premium) that for this particular symptom, the scale will be used as a counter instead of a measure of severity. So, for example, you'd tap "moderate," the third point on the scale, to indicate that you peed three times this morning. I upgraded to premium after less than a day's use because I could see how much more value I'd get out of it by having the premium features, but even the free version is pretty amazing. It's clear the developers put a lot of thought and research into simplicity, usability, and flexibility. I carefully reviewed the app's privacy policies since this data is so personal, and was encouraged to find that they don't store any data on their servers. It's only in your phone unless you choose to export it. Right now, email (unsecure) is the only export option. This is my only complaint, but it should be something that can be fixed in a later version, by integration with ProtonMail or perhaps with the addition of other export options.

Great app!

I've been using this app for about a week now and so far it's been great. It helps motivate me to eat right and pay attention to my body. I have MS and recently started the Wahls diet so this app is awesome to keep me on track with my diet. I'm looking at getting an Apple Watch to help motivate me to exercise. I bought the paid version, which I rarely do, and it's worth it to customize and add symptoms and factors. Highly recommend it.

Amazingly helpful

I am still learning exactly how to get the most from the app, I'm very impressed with the ease of use. Having multiple chronic autoimmune issues doing your own journal can be overwhelming, and most of the time we start out with good intentions but ultimately fail as it takes to long. This is so much easier. And you can verbally dictate your personal notes. Love it.

Its changing my life.

Yeah pretty much when you are managing lots of chronic illnesses and have lots of ups and downs, systematically tracking things helps to identify patterns you can't see by just relying on your memory or intuition. Paying the extra money to create custom factors and symptoms and journal is definitely worth it.

Can't do much unless you pay

Snxjeuanxjw

It wants you to start off by choosing 10 symptoms. Make sure you choose the most important first because once you choose 10, you can't choose any more nor can you delete some & choose others...unless you pay. Deleted immediately!
