Not getting my money :/

I got paid for 2 events and when I tried to cash out I keep getting an error. I tried cashing out with two different PayPal accounts and it still won’t let me. The events are nice actually. I enjoy using the app. I just wish I could get paid for the products I bought and reviewed.

Surkus is a scam app that disguises itself well by allowing a few people actually get to do what it markets itself as. It is a data mine that is selling your information and making money off of falsely promoting things on amazon. It also will offer you discounts on tickets to things you didn’t get selected to go to for free. They obviously discriminate against race and gender. Ambassadors rate you after you do go to events. Being VIP means nothing. If you want events, just go on eventbrite and search your city for free things :)

This app used to be really cool for local events. I’ve had a blast at some events I’ve attended but since the last month or so it seems like the event invites have stopped and it’s a bunch of online services (like barkbox, wine club, gainful) that reward you $5 for signing up for a membership that will cost you $40. It used to be worth it and now it’s just advertising.

after i made my account i started getting random emails & phone calls. Within 5 minutes of linking my instagram account with the app my account got hacked and my password was changed. DO NOT give them personal information

sometimes interesting events are posted but lately all it’s been is bark box subscriptions, candy box subscriptions etc. i am not and never will be interested in paying for or getting a little discount for any sort of subscription box. you end up literally spending money. i initially joined for cool events and even when i was a VIP i got a bunch of lame things sent to me that required me spending money. kind of defeats the purpose of the app :/

This has became a invite to events/clubs that would already be free. And discounts that are not worth it. This app used to be good, there was paid promotional model, castings, crowd and products that again ALL paid. Now it’s not worth it just basically “Get Access”. Sad that isn’t a good way to get work anymore. Nice idea but didn’t work I guess

Been using it nearly every week for 2 years and I’ve seen so many cool events I wouldn’t be able to go to otherwise, and even got to try some new products! Made moving to a new city so much easier, and I’ve had a 100% seamless experience with it on every activity.
This app is really cool!
