I've been using this for almost two years now. Summer rarely updates this software and I the wifi rarely works (maybe 10% of the time when I try to use it).

The monitors work fine when you're in your home but the Wi-Fi app is garbage. It does not work. I saw one review that says it takes patience and changing your privacy settings but no, I have done all of that, I've reset all my settings, followed every instruction given to me by the app and customer service, and nothing gets my monitors to load via Wi-Fi on my phone. For $200+ this is ridiculous. Save your money or buy a different system if you want to view on your device outside the home.

This is by far the most unreliable app I have on my phone and of course this is to help give you peace of mind for you to monitor your baby while you're away from home. And yet this app never loads the live feed without countless amount of tries!!

Don't waste your money or time. There's at least a 5-10 sec delay when this product works. There is a video error 98% of the time, so if you're using WiFi to check on your little one, this product won't help you. Not the WiFi monitor you're looking for. A horrible product & app. Don't waste your time! Look elsewhere for a reliable WiFi camera.
Doesn't work as advertised

Super disappointed with this expensive monitor. Was looking forward to accessing it from anywhere, and it doesn't let me away from the house wifi. Not how it was advertised. It also won't let my husband have access through his phone to the monitor, keeps saying wrong password ?. Very annoyed. And the video is horrible, again, not shown as advertised!! I literally use it for the noise now.

I really didn't want to believe the reviews and gave the summer infant a try because it had everything I wanted in a baby monitor. Sure the pic is no 3D or 1080p tv but it's decent. And the monitor worked great at first but then over time the signal got worse and would not work in a location that it previously did. The app was awesome at first but again after a few months wouldn't connect and kept giving me problems. After many many go rounds with summer infant customer service, which is mostly less than helpful, I finally got my app to work again! But now after 2 days it is still giving me problems. It's super frustrating and I will probably just find a home security camera/app system next because this just a waste of time. Anyone who has a baby knows that naps are a precious precious time where you need every minute to enjoy your quiet or take a nap or clean or do nothing and I have spent way too much of that time fighting with my monitor and app! Not worth it. :(
App doesn't work...

Overall the camera & monitor have worked fine. The app is another story. I've it for months and cannot use the app. Every time I try to log in the app closes. Don't buy if you want to be able to remote in using the app.

Straight up pos. Video error all the time, never works and no updates ever. Don't waste your money

One of the worst apps ever. This app rarely works. The audio on the actual device is fantastic, the video is ok. I would opt for a better brand.
