App fails to sync on IOS DEVICES

All 1-2 star reviews are spot on. It stopped syncing on my IOS DEVICES, AND THERE IS NO SUPPORT. I cancelled, but if you are paying automatically it's nearly impossible to cancel, many road blocks. To give your credit card for that. Having stopped billing they even revoked the complimentary account for free storage. Not user support friendly at all.

Now, so often, can never access or download files from my iOS devices or the computer. PLUS large files never open regardless of connection. I think they are massively underinvested in servers or need to fix this quick. Loved the service at first and now I'm seriously thinking of using other services for backup and cloud access.

Needs iOS 11 Files App support ASAP

NO iOS 11 File App support!! Cmon. Google drive, Dropbox and some of my lesser known apps have it..... REALLY NEED THIS FEATURE TO ATTACH SUGARSYNC ITEMS RIGHT INTO EMAIL DURING COMPOSING!! Thanks! I love Sugarsync. It's the only one that makes copies of your stuff in the cloud and doesn't need a dedicated folder like the rest of them. However this app hasn't been updated in over a year and key iOS 11 features are not here at all. - Most importantly you cannot access Sugarsync from the new iOS 11 attachment picker location when adding attachments to email. Dropbox and Google drive are there. This is really needed badly to attach documents easily to emails. -No slide over support on iPad - No 3D Touch support. I really hope this is updated soon. These are needed features and Sugarsync is behind with this.

IOS 11 doesn’t work well with app

Needs to be fixed ASAP! 2 things. Need to be able to email support from within the app. Item 2, the pin code number pad doesn’t work when trying to turn this feature on. Worked just fine on my old iPhone 7 running iOS 10.

Don't purchase SugarSync. It is the worst!

SugarSync is an expensive Google Drive. Save your money! They will renew you with no notification, make it difficult to cancel, and refuse to provide a refund. Terrible customer service. Do not support this company with your business

Huge bug in latest release

When accessing folders in the app, once a folder is open, you cannot close it and access other folders unless you fully close the app. This is a major bug only in this latest release. I attempted to contact Sugarsync directly related to this, but there was no easy way to contact them. Note: also crashes all the time when I attempt to open or send a document or file. Not good!

SugarSync has a really good UI and interface compared to other backup services. Why SugarSync rather than other backup services? Well, I was actually a customer for BackBlaze for about three years. It has been really handy and saved me a couple of times. Though what irked me was that with BackBlaze, there a 30 day file retention policy. Meaning if you don’t back up your computer at least every thirty days. They will delete your data. So I figured I should look for a new backup service. SugarSync doesn’t have that policy. And compared to BackBlaze’s app. SugarSync’s is more functional. The UI on desktop and mobile feels very modern and usable. I’ve also tried SpiderOakOne which is similar to SugarSync but the app is so unusable, that it turned me away from them. Also unlike with these services. SugarSync backs up your photos. Yes there are backup services like Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. But you can’t choose which folder you want to backup. You’re only confined to one folder. Now SugarSync does have a few drawbacks. It is more expensive than other backup services. The lowest plan is $7.49 per month for 100GB That is a bit pricey. And on the app. You can’t preview thumbnail images for .png files Though .jpg and .jpeg work. Though is minor. Though I’ll gladly pay a bit more for better user accessibility, better UI, and just being pretty dang handy. And that’s why I chose SugarSync as my main backup service.

Not only has the app quit working, Sugar Sync makes it nearly impossible to cancel (actually, not renew). I have called both the Cancellation Department and the main number more than once, leaving a message to return my call or email (as their message directs). No response whatever. I guess the only remedy is to instruct the credit card people not to honor their charges.
