Not reliable, lags/delays

App is not reliable and have to keep it open so it will run flows. Love the ease of the app but not being reliable and delays in flows running bring my rating on it down.

Awesome but is there a problem with last update?

Love the app and think it's much more capable than IFTT. lately however it's geo location triggers haven't been working and it seems it's been because the app no longer runs in the background of my iPhone. If I manually start the app the triggers fire. Didn't have to do that until very recently.

Tried to connect to Hue more than 20 times but it failed every time. My home setup is just fine and i have no issues with other apps. It keep saying try again. Deleted the app since it was just a headache.

Thanks Kris, for your response. I will reach out to support and am very excited to hear that you have updates planned and development is still active. I look forward to them as I really think you have a great app with loads of potential. Thanks again! Lots of issues connecting and staying connected to services. Issues with location triggers not firing or firing late. I've seen these issues consistently with the Wink Hub 2 and when connecting to services like IFTTT (if it actually manages to connect). I really, really like and want to use this app. It is more flexible than IFTTT by sevenfold, but it's way too spotty to lean on for home automation. Is it me, my devices, or some of the services and products I use? Nope! I can accomplish much of what I want to do in IFTTT without any issues at all, but is a big time bummer that I can't "string" things together in IFTTT. If I could, I wouldn't even look at another app because it just WORKS. So, no updates to this app in 6 months gives me pause. There have been a couple or three iterations of iOS since then, updates to devices, services, hubs...and new products have sprang forth. Should I bring a candle to the vigil or what? I'd love to see it brought to speed, made a paid service, and actively developed and maintained. I'm in. I'd buy it if it was reliable, no doubt.

I have never written a review of an app before, but if felt compelled to write after my experience with technical support. IAs you will find below, I worked with Kris from technical support. This was without a doubt the best technical support experience I have ever had. Kris was very friendly and courteous, but what made this particularly special was his willingness to go above and beyond any of my expectations. First, the response time was incredibly fast. Within a day, we had an extensive conversation so that Kris could fully and completely understand the issue that I was facing. Then, without prodding, Kris began work on a solution that I had been trying to solve on my own for well over a year. Not only this, but he tested the solution on the equipment at his office the next day. When the initial attempt did not quite solve the issue (though it did get closer than I ever had) he reached out to Philips Hue and found a way to make it work. Beyond just solving my problem, Kris also mentioned some other products that could solve the issue if the software changes did not solve the problem. I have dealt with many different IT support people in the past and I can assure you that I have never left with such positive feelings. Because of this interaction (and Stringify’s great product), I will forever be a fan. Many thanks.
