The flows work great and what doesn’t work with Stringify often can be triggered with IFTTT. The major downside is that stringify doesn’t reliably work in the background.

Used this for all of 24 hours until the whole platform broke. Unable to add new Things, Flows no longer work, etc. Very disappointing. UPDATE: Hiccup has been addressed. Exceptional UX when the platform is up and running. Will provide another update once reliability has been established.

It is just the best app in the world! EDITED 03/12/2018: From my favorite app and 5 stars to the cause of all my problems and 1 star :( Most of the flows I have (25/30) are not working because it seems like that the MODE trigger is not working at all! And no answers from the customer support :( EDITED 03/14/2018 After 3 days in the dark, everything is working again. There is still space for improvement, but it’s for sure my favorite app ever! 4 stars, not five, because of the 0 support in these last 3 days, after 2 emails, bug opened and topic opened in the forums :(

I’ve had this app for a while now. It has been fairly useful. My rating is for the app itself. However, they have just been bought by Comcast. I HATE Comcast. They have terrible customer service. All they new hype the Stringify people are trying to create is only based around Comcast based features. As I do not have Comcast, the “update” is nothing more than a SLIGHT visual upgrade. I found this app useful for some things (though I recommend Workflow and IFTTT so much more.) I can’t help but think I might delete this app solely because they sold out to a terrible company. If the next “update” doesn’t have actual, useful feature updates (to EVERYONE not just Comcast customers) I will delete this app forever. I don’t know why they allowed a Comcast to assimilate them, but I think it was a bad decision. I hope you stringy people read this and know that this user is disappointed.

Yes, I can run the iPhone version on an iPad, but it only runs in portrait mode. That’s somewhat inconvenient when you have a keyboard attached to your iPad...

Great Tool - Best IFTT

This by far is the best tool for tying in all your smart devices. Just heard about it and haven't stopped playing with it. It takes a bit to get used to. I had to watch some videos and do some google searches but now I have to thorough flows. I use smartthings with bulbs, locks, sensors, openers and can almost fulfill everything I need. The capability is far more available compared to just using smartthings. I had an issue with a device registering as a relay. Emailed support and they were able to change on the back end and issue was resolved in a few hours. (At night - not during business hours - Impressive) Works better with Ecobee also than say Smartthings. With smartthings the API takes permanent precedence of a command. So if it tells your thermostat to set a temp it will stay that way till you actually change it. With Strigify it will revert at the next scheduled event as if you were controlling at the thermostat. Could go on but I suggest spend time learning the tool and reach out to support. They are amazing!

This app is by far the best smart home app on the Market!! It closes the gap of getting "all" your connected devices working in on place!! Stringify has finally unlocked then biggest problem with Smart Home and that's getting everything working with each other.....and it works flawlessly!!! It works on all the top smart home products , apps and even connects you non physical apps as well. Amazing and a must have for any smart home owner!

I am a smart home super user, integrator, and developer and I love what Stringify brings to the party. My smart home is based on a SmartThings v2 hub with three Alexa units and over 60 smart devices. I added Stringify to integrate other IOT smarts into my workflow in ways that simply isn't possible using the built in ST tools. Kudos to these guys for a fabulous interface. My only complaint is one can't edit an existing setup if you want to add a layer or delete a link. At least I couldn't find a way to do it. Other than that their interface is miles ahead of IFTTT and brings a significant degree of added sophistication that leaves IFTTT in the dust.

Great app and I would use this however, I have a mounted iPad on my wall and there is only an iPhone app. Looks terrible, I went back to Wink, its 2017 make an iPad app!!

Hands down better than all competitors, especially IFTTT
