It’s a great concept. My personal experience is that it’s a little glitchy. When out of the app, it automatically started recording. This happened quite a few times, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to give it another try. It has some really cool feature, like call in and add a host. I’m very excited to get to play with this a little more... seems like podcast episode are up for 24 hours, it’s like the “Snapchat” of podcast in that sense. Not too familiar with the archive process, have to look further into that. Also interested to know if it’s cross platform, as far as availability on android OS. Overall, I’m super excited about this app and what improvements can and will come in the future.

My dream for the past few years was to have my own podcast and the good people at Anchor made my dream come true and not at a crazy cost to do so. I do this for the love and passion I have for doing podcast. Only thing I would like to add to this app is longer segments. It’s great to have long segments when I’m talking to another person through the Anchor app, but when it is just me recording by myself I wish the segments were longer than five minutes. Outside of that, I have nothing else to say, the app has been great to me and I thank you all at Anchor for that.

I lay on the floor by the old radio as a kid and listen to the long conversations. It’s back in a beautiful way. Bravo Anchor and all its creators!
Interview mode

I cannot use the interview mode because it does not appear in the app! I cannot find the 2.2 version of the app. Please fix!!

Hi i just started this app and it’s awesome! Great quality and everything! But i’m having a huge problem with connecting. My wifi is full bars and i’ve even tried using it on data, but it still says that it can’t connect! It won’t let me create an account or upload anything to my station. Help please because i would love to keep uploading new content to my station!
