Could use additions

The idea of the app is great. However, the praise phrases are a bit boring. The reinforcement of building the rocket is fun. Most importantly, it would be PERFECT if you could actually SELECT which nouns to work on. This is why I bought the app because it said customizable— not very customizable. I work with kids with disabilities and they need repetition, not new words each time.

Where’s the data?

This is a great app, but it would be so much better if it provided a number or percentage of correct vs attempted trials so my students can work independently.

Alien voice - thumbs down

Pre-K SLP

I like the concept of this app, but why is the voice so awful? It’s hard enough to follow the directions, and the alien voice quality makes comprehension so much harder.

British accents

I think the concept of this game is great especially the ability to choose levels. That said it would be nice if the accent of the speaker changed along with the dictionary.

As an SLP, I love this game because of concepts and vocabulary it targets as well as multiple step directions. The kids also like the reinforcers. I have been having issues with the app force closing though, please fix!!

I love this!

This is perfect for my slightly special education son. It teaches them to listen to instructions and he loves making the rocket. My five year old just told me "I love that game" as I was writing this. Great graphics and my two kids could play this forever. Definetly worth the money. We did not encounter any problems with the program. Thank you for giving me such an affordable "game" for my son to practice his listening skills and for my younger daughter just to enjoy!

Could be GREAT if...

As a Speech Language Pathologist who works with ages 3-5 in the U.S., I find this app to be super kid-friendly and motivating. It definitely helps them learn to listen to the ENTIRE direction and requires a decent bit of self-control. The questions are appropriate and the tasks are exactly as stated in the app's description. However, I just downloaded it today and I already had it freeze up on me three times; and had to start all over (which would not be a big deal except that you have to start over on the rocket, too.) The two improvements I'd like to see in the next update are: the ability to skip to the planet that they were trying to reach at the end of the last session. I can see the reinforcer losing it's desirability since every time they play the game they have to start building the rocket all over. We NEVER have enough time to finish the whole thing and get the alien to her home planet. Also, a change of scenery or a change in the alien character or a change in SOMETHING after each planet to indicate that she is on a new planet during the direction-following tasks would be great. Doesn't that make sense? Anyway, this app has potential for 5 star awesome-ness but it's not quite there yet.

No longer working

My daughter loved this app, but now after having it for only a couple of days the guy is no longer talking. All my other audio is fine and I can't find an audio setting in the app itself.

Love this but...

This week app started freezing up on the fifth planet? My speech kids love this. Maybe a bug?

Awesome!

My students absolutely LOVE this app. They love the characters and sound effects. I love being able to choose which part of speech to work on. However, some of the vocabulary is a little obscure (windmill? Is that a necessary word in a youngster's vocabulary?). Overall, I definitely recommend it!
