Ripped off

tbyrd11

I have used this program for years. I annually paid for the cloud so all my devices update info. I have the credit card record of being charged for the program six months ago and have been unable to access my data. This is very frustrating. Enraging actually. And from the program there is no ability to communicate with the company. It just continually locks me out saying that I have to pay, which I have already done. Bummer. Disgusting.

App doesn’t work

Just business

Warning this app doesn’t work! DO NOT PURCHASE!!

Forced to upgrade

Halebro

I used this App since the palm days. However recently I am forced to upgrade to a pro version for $20 a year to regain access to all of my passwords. This is utterly ridiculous.

Declining Application and Support

So Necessary

During the last year the app removed my fields information. The information has been randomly recorded. I have used SplashID since Palm and Blackberry straight thru Galaxy, maybe as early as 2005. I cannot access my own card info to renew Pro app. Online the free doesn’t allow access to my files. Only a scrolling view. Really sad, it feels as though the current staff inherited Splash and will let the company die via indifference.

Does not work with iOS 11.2.1

I just applied the recent iPhone update 11.2.1 and I can no longer open SplashID. I have everything in this app and now it is lost. BUYER BEWARE.

Buyer Beware

DrFund

Bought this SplashID app 10years ago for its great basic usage. I didn't want or need updated features... but now it's $20 Pro edition is being forced. Now, I'm locked out from my basic Splash ID passwords, it seems like extortion, twisting my arm to upgrade to Pro. Beware... Sensitive passwords held for random!!!

The app is integral to every day of my life

I have been using this program for several years on 4 different devices not including using the website as my back up access. I have been using the cloud sync and think I have only had one problem syncing and it turned out to be my fault. This application is an integral of my entire life. I can keep track of alimony every pierce is data. I use custom passwords for everything. Everything I access needs SplashID open for me to access my data sources. The program is stable, for me, and I can always access my data. Every now and then there is a little glitch that a quick restart of the app won’t solve. Other password managers try to be too cute in their implementation and are too integrated into your web browser experience. SplashID gives me a stand-alone database of all my life records accessible at a moments need. My only complaint is speed of accessing customer support and the subscription management seems to have some glitches. But I have always been able to solve the issue with their help.

Do not buy

Been a user since the PalmOS days. Recently I’ve been locked out because of a license change. Even though they reset my account temporarily, I cannot access my data anymore. Was told to purchase one of the special license promotions they had. Did they, still can log in, sent multiple emails and the same generic form letter response. Send emails again and a week later, still no response. If I have to start over, will use 1Password instead Seems to have only one arrogant support person working there.

Love this app!

PatonC

It saves me every day when I can't remember a password to one of my gazillion web logins. I’ve used it for years with little to no problems.

Stopped working!

I tried to log in this morning and it said this app needs an update by the developer- how do I retrieve my passwords- any ideas before I panic?
