Not up to snuff

Zoomie man

Long time user. Product design flawed. So-so performance of breath and activity detection. Bluetooth drops signal frequently. Accuracy and completeness of data is questionable. Protective fabric prematurely frays and tears. Not recommended.

I was looking for a meditation app that did not have any in app purchases. When I found spire I immediately downloaded it without reading any reviews. Once I logged into the app it asked my if I had a spire stone. Having no idea what a spire stone was, I said no. It then took me to a website where I could buy one for $129. I tried my best to get around not having one, but I could not. Unless you have a spire stone, do not purchase this app.

IMHO

FOR ME, this has been exceptionally helpful in regaining control of my breathing. It hasn’t cured my anxiety, but it has helped me keep my mind on my breathing and keeping it regular so hyperventilating, shallow breath, NOT breathing, have been mitigated and kept me mindful so anxiety attacks are smaller and shorter. That’s me; your mileage may, will, vary. But, here is someone it has helped.

Used to be great

I love my Spire but over time it's having more and more issues disconnecting, not tracking my whole day, and being the largest drain on my battery by far. Developers, please fix these issues.

Never Works

iScypher

Sad. It never works anymore. Always says to reposition it and shows how, but when I do, it still doesn’t work. I haven’t used it in over a year because of this issue. Came back to it hoping the company had remedied the issue, but obviously they’ve not. I bought two of them as a couples pack and both are inaccurate and totally useless. Complete waste of money—and these things are expensive. So long as this issue persists, I simply cannot and will not recommend this device.

App keeps closing

The app keeps closing for no reason, as far as I can tell. I have to open the app periodically and sometimes it starts fresh and has to reconnect and sync. It’s frustrating when this happens at the end of the day and I only get 5 hours of tracking.

Great product that looks to not be supported anymore

DuSTiX

Great product but doesn’t look to be supported by the company anymore. App hasn’t been updated in 7 months. Product is discounted on website and new product launched with many more app updates. Pretty sad considering Spire Stone is actually a pretty good product!!

Life-Changing

Honestly, my boyfriend gave me Spire as a Christmas gift to help me recognize and handle my anxiety as it happens and it’s been such a little piece of light to have on me. The buzzing isn’t annoying, it reminds me to breathe when I’m tense, and I rarely remember it’s there until I have a reason to remember. I give this a 5/5, glowing review and couldn’t recommend it more!

Eh

Soderaify

Good idea, but execution is not great. Everytime I open the app it prompts me with some notification, the same notification...literally everytime I open the app. So I can never just pop in the app to see my breathing quick. Also, it seems like the Spire stone only tracks events a handful of minutes at a time. I want to see something like "tense for 2 hours" instead of getting a vibrating every 5 minutes for two hours straight saying I've been tense.

Don’t waste your money

Does not work. Is waste.
