Speedtest.net is the best! I have used them often for a number of years, and way too often a couple speed tests is far far quicker fix than a long-wait call to comcast, who last week ranked in the top ten for most hated companies in America for their service. JJ Wondering why the Meter goes up to 50, and the final download reading is 115? Is Comcast or XFinity- or whoever they are - shaming us once again?

I’ve used this to keep my internet at the speeds I paid for once they increase my internet to 90$ a month with 1mbps speed and sometimes absolute 0 but I called and they fixed it for me using this app

Freezes EVERY time I try to use it

I have not been able to successfully use this app. It freezes after about 5 seconds of using it and does not recover. Very frustrating.

Our internet is so slow I can’t even load Google right now and DownDetector is reporting an outage in my area, but SpeedTest is still reporting >50mb/s down and >5mb/s up on my wifi - I even went into airplane mode to make sure it wasn’t running off my LTE. Clearly, this app isn’t actually testing my internet connection. Completely untrustworthy app.
