This is a very handy app to have, however, at least for me, it is definitely always wrong. My current d/up is 100/300 and it says 30/30 on the app.

#1 way to check if internet is down or up to speed...always reliable...use it for my desktop and phone often Google test on a desktop and it's the first thing to show up

It's absolutely the best way to test the connection speed while the uncluttered interface sports a modern, clean design. Kudos Ookla!
iPhone 6+ (iOS 10) Freeze in test in VPN

Generally, great app. After iOS 10 update, during test with iPhone in VPN mode, the handset will stop, freeze, & auto restart. Test will not complete in VPN mode. Normal test function out of VPN mode. Test always worked regardless VPN mode before iOS 10 update. App & site provides no way to directly report problems.

So far, I have used this app for the past couple of years and it has served me well to display my upload/download speeds. Only thing I have noticed is that there is a stark contrast in UL/DL speeds when choosing to test your network from different locations on the map within the app. Any reason?
