Bad Bad App

racquetball11

This is one of the worst apps that I have ever run across. 1. Doesn’t hold Bluetooth connection even when the speaker is playing. 2. Adding a second device is a nightmare. When trying to add a second speaker the second speaker doesn’t always work. Also if you don’t disconnect the second speaker from you phone Bluetooth settings it will fail. When trying to convert to stereo, don’t bother. It will frustrate you.

Great products, painful app

bish give me a nickname

I got a brand new SRS-XB22 for Christmas. The thing works wonderfully and I love it (even though it lists nowhere that the sound volume is reduced when at low battery, nor is there a way to disable that). My issues start with this app. I have my speaker hooked up to my phone, and I use this app to change the light settings so I don’t need to get up and do it manually on the speaker. That’s only IF I don’t need to disconnect the speaker in my settings and reconnect them because the app tells me it “needs setup”, and then makes me do the above in Settings (the app never does automatically continue to the next step after I do what it says. It doesn’t does jack sh*t. I always have to arrow back out of it). This app has times where it works as smoothly as I need it, and times where I can’t do anything with it. For the most part, it’s an app with a simple, easy-to-use layout whenever it’s not being useless. If you don’t need anything other than sound, you probably don’t need (or want) this app.

Apps are just disappointing

LucasR86

I bought the GTKXB60 and the settings on the app are just disappointing. The speakers great but this app and the fiestable app are just childish. Make these a little more advanced and not so crappy. Also, PLEASE make the lighting options better. Both these apps are just trash compared to the speaker. Also, just a heads up but if you change the light settings on either app you’re stuck with those options. I personally thought the factory light settings were great, but you can’t change back to those if you change any light settings in the apps. Even tried resetting the speaker multiple times and multiple ways.

Worst app ever!

Thebigkahuna900

I love the speaker but this app doesn’t work. I purchased 2 Sony speakers xb31 and xb30 and get get them to sync! If I knew how garbage this app is I would have bought the Bose. So frustrating and this will drive you crazy. I expect better from Sony.

Garbage app!

selling my sony devices.

Neither of my str amps will connect

Awful app.

Stankybuddha410

I was trying to refrain from writing an ugly but this app really is just terrible. For Sony to have the kind of reputation and customer loyalty that it has one would think that there would have been an urgency to get this app working properly. Sony has really dropped the ball with this one. Should have just waited to launch this program.

Bad App

Birrë

This App is slow. When you open it back it takes a few seconds to connect with Sony speaker. One of the worst and weakest App that I ever seen. Very poor made. However, I really like the srs xb32 speaker.

Useless

VazhaVili

Never works form me, doesn’t connect, freezes in the middle this app is just plain useless. Would be nice if Sony included physical buttons for light control because I just cant turn it off without an app which obviously never works. Thank you Sony!

No Device Recognition

Phuk Auf

It just straight up does not recognize the speakers as devices to manipulate. So if you want to turn the lights off to save battery, good luck sir.

App no longer supports equipment

Barber7742

I liked the app until an update came out that no longer supported my equipment.
