It’s honestly great

OkayDre

i don’t know what everyone else is saying but this is a good app, it’s simple and you can play spotify from it or any music on your phone! you can control the light and music quality as well. it’s great in my opinion!

Loses speaker

DontLikeIt555

Installed yesterday and worked good to control volume via iPhone when plugged into TV via mini stereo line. Today shows 2 of same speaker one needs setup the other does not. Both are non responsive. Both say can’t connect even though it’s connected and can’t delete either to redo setup. Why has this issue not been fixed? When an app gets 2 stars the company should fix It asap or the people will buy elsewhere next time. Am I correct?

Worthless

Will not recognize two Sony speakers, the gtk-xb7 and gtk-xb72. Frankly can’t get anything with these speakers to work together.

Don’t know what this app for...

WilliaXm

So what will this app for?

Power level

frankster222

Just updated October and still 3 levels deep to see battery level. I will continue to give one star for every update until the battery level is indicated on the first screen. It doesn't need to be three screens deep. Come on!!! STILL lastest update fail Why is the power level burried three levels in instead of being on the first screen. STUPID STUPID STUPID. Come on!!!

App is horrible

Please, please fix this app. My speakers never stay synced. Makes me not want to buy from the manufacturer again.

The worst app in the App Store

CBNYSEA

I’ve never written a review before, but this app is so bad, I feel compelled to warn other would be buyers of Sony receivers to avoid this situation. I need this app for one primary function, which is to control my Sony receivers remotely, via my phone, primarily to stream music and it can’t even do that. This app can’t connect to either of my receivers via wifi and does so only sporadically via Bluetooth. I have dozens of connected devices in my home and this is literally the only one that doesn’t work. If wifi controlled music streaming is important to you, I would avoid this app and all Sony connected receivers at all costs.

Great radio. Absolutely terrible app.

Offman/1981

This app is so terrible to use. I just am not going to use the connecting of the speakers or this app. It takes so long to do one thing, mainly do to its loading. Then it cannot even probably connect to the one main speaker that has already been connected.

Sync issues

Illeism

I have two xb-20 speakers and for the most part work as intended with the app - however - occasionally the speakers will lose their sync - usually if I turn them on and don’t play music within 2 to 3 minutes - then I have to remove them from Bluetooth , delete the app, reset the speakers to default and then add everything again - rarely, when trying to put them in a group again the app goes haywire and can’t figure out how to group the speakers so i have to remove them from Bluetooth etc...

Your sound system is very mediocre

Luismi75

I paid over 1200 dollars for a soundbar, and two add on speakers at 300dls for the pair and its always a problem disconnecting speakers on the multi-room and so on. Pure garbage I wished I would’ve have bought the Sonos. Pathetic app
