I wanted to like this company and app but it’s not for me. Cluttered, messy and at times you get into a screen and there’s no way out except to choose a new product - no swiping back, no close buttons, nothing. Can’t even close my account on the app, even though when you search help online they tell you to use the app. Won’t be investing with SoFi.

When I first started getting into investing I tried out probably 10 platforms including M1, Acorns, Ameritrade, Coinbase, Voyager, Stacked, Titan, and more. I wish I found SoFi first and I will tell you why exactly. Just an incredible interface, navigating the app is extremely clean and efficient. Everything is easy to find, the text and design is perfect. I love the interface just the way it is and hope they don’t change anything. SoFi has all the features of your investing apps combined. I mean everything, anything someone could possibly want from a financial app is there and more. This is not an investing app, this is a platform for all your financial needs and education. Not only do they offer 90% of crypto, individual stocks, mutual funds for you to invest in, they also have 0 commission trades and a 1$ starting deposit. You can trade anything whenever and however you want instantly without worrying about constant fees. They also do not charge any fees at any point, the checking account is completely free along with a high quality debit card that gets to your address very quickly. They actually seem to care about each person as an individual. They have so many resources for you to educate yourself, they have a beautiful display of stocks when you want to research them. They have leaderboards, a very clean reoccurring investment system where you could literally completely automate your investments and that’s not including their actual automated investing option that’s completely hands off. They have their own custom mutual funds that you can invest in that are highly managed are relatively cheap compared to actively managed funds like ARK. I don’t have experience with the customer service yet simply because I don’t see myself ever needing too, this is such a polished app and an amazing business. I didn’t even get to mention the amazing student loan repayment programs they have, they also have mortgage loans and so much more. Please if you haven’t found your app yet give this one a try, I never leave reviews but it’s just too good not too. I’ve transferred over all my money from other platforms to SoFi because they just have everything. The only two things I would be happy if they added was a savings account because I really like how they encourage people to save money smarter and I just like keeping my capital in SoFi because they also offer passive interest on your money just for using their account. The only other thing would be more security measures or at least let the customer know what steps you are taking to secure their account. It has the same two step authentication like most apps but I feel like if they talked about how advanced their security technology is it would be comforting.
